Because that place was super deep. If the venue is not within 30 feet of their bedroom and totally free (venue fees) people won't show up. Everything has to be super convenient for this new breed of unemployed players. Any travel that requires the transfer of more then one train you are looking at a serious drop in turnout. Kinda the sad state of things nowadays.

No word on another venue yet guys. IMO i would go to Kings Games. They have a large space with setups (from what I've seen on the website). I'm not sure what the situation is there seeing as i haven't spoken to them but this would be the best bet. Other then that we were gonna try 8 Bit and Up. But according to Mike and a couple of other people this venue is very small and would HAVE to have a 32 man cap because of space issues. We cannot move Guard Crush there (Kings Games) unfortunately because of issues between Mike and one of the "managers" in the past.

If anything we should do 3 round 2/3 matches, but it's whatever to me cause this shit is gonna be free.

This is super funny. I remember you came over my place with Ray and didn't play and single game all day. what i think we might do is put it off from GC6 so we can have the proper amount of time to make sure we can do this smoothly and bring it back for GC7. this isn't 100% yet but it's what i am suggesting at the moment. by tonight or early tomorrow we will be totally sure what's going to happen. we like the hype you guys bring and we want to support your community as best we could but we just don't want you guys to not come because of the previous problem(s). im gonna say this though and i am not calling anyone out, but you have to show up on time and sign up as soon as you get to the venue. do not wait and go play casuals and then sign up, SIGN UP ASAP! IF YOU PAID, IT IS YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOUR NAME MAKES IT ON THE LIST!!! MAKE SURE YOUR HANDLE IS CORRECT AND THAT EVERYTHING IS GOOD BEFORE HAND. JOHN PUTS YOUR NAME ON THE LIST WHEN HE RECEIVES YOUR MONEY. MYSELF AND MIKE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY MONEY. We are really busy and we can't account for every single detail even though we wish we could. this will make sure that everything starts on time. both myself and mikes numbers are on the threads there should not be a problem with getting in touch with either one of us if you are going to be late. we are going to start putting our foot down and NOT restarting the brackets even if the first match has not been played. so if you show up late and think we are going to restart everything for you this will not be the case anymore.
