1. It's possible b/c the game system allows it (via jump install). In order to do it you need to jump install during the ground portion of the combo before the dolphin. Like this: xx, S, tap up, H, charge down for dolphin, v.dolph, frc, .. at this point you can air dash. (note: H is pressed quick enough so that 'tap up' does not cause a jump) 2. Your explanation for how to do it is correct. Charge down, go to neutral and do your 5P, finish motion with 8S/H for dolphin.

i play regular HS. blue/white w/ pink hair. her default is one of the best tho. ^_^

maori plays like runaway dizzy. it shouldnt take too long to get the hang of it. ^_^ i wouldnt really call it a bug in the port. its just a result of the system mechanics that they put in the game, and something that people need to get used to. the arcade version "plays" the same as the ps2 port afaik. AH Full is the toureny version. if you want some US arcana tourney matches, i have some on my youtube. www.youtube.com/cappsindigo. there are matches from nec in dec and from sb2 in ohio in nov.

what do you mean neutral people? i think im about as neutral as it gets. just from nec i see ny, fl, tx, chi, and ne vids. i gave flash props when he won, in person. i shake hands after tourney matches. why the name calling marn? plenty of your matches are up, from nec and ohio. gg 3v3 was in my queue of vids to do, but i recorded more than gg vids at nec. and if you paid attention to my youtube account you'd notice that i had a batch of vids uploaded 1 week ago, 3 weeks ago, 4 weeks ago, and 5 weeks ago (not all gg). i did take a little break for the holidays, omg im such a slacker. gg vids were prioritized, singles were uploaded first and 2 weeks after nec. gg 3v3 was going to come when when their turn came and they were completed. whats not trustworthy about what ive been doing? and then a barrage of insults with a "whatever" at the end. when in this or previous threads have you or marlinpie said thank you even once for what ive done so far? calling me out like that.. i dont know what you think its going to accomplish. about fr, TenKaiGear did an awesome job on the vids last year. they were certainly better than the vids that i put up. i just noticed that the finals werent up, i think i remember them saying they were going to make a dvd, did that happen? if not, ill see if i have those vids somewhere.

.. as stated before, this was done so the vid would fit inside the youtube time limit. basically, i have 4 options when a vid is too long. i always start off by trimming it to contain only match material. if its still too long i can 1) process it in a fun way (like WF), 2) cut out some parts of the actual match, 3) split it up into multiple vids, or 4) not upload it on youtube (and upload it somewhere else or not at all). there's nothing really to "get" i just did what i had to to get it uploaded, and only 1 min out of a 10 min vid (2 out of 12 rounds) are double speed i feel the same way about some of the sbo matches.

watch the whole vid. its like that for the first 2 rounds b/c the vid was too long for youtube, and i didnt want to split it up into 2 vids or cut something out entirely. SH_ is SH_ from cbus, not Sharon. The only japanese player at this tourney was orka.

What do you mean explain? Do you want to know how to do them? What is different about them? What to use them for? frc- you may frc slightly after you hit your opponent w/ a dolphin. at that point you can air attack, land, whatever.. and more if you jump installed. FB- you do this (anytime) before you hit your opponent with a dolph. to do it, after the dolph command go to neutral and hit up+D (for v.dolph) or forward+D (for h.dolph). at this point may separates from the dolph. may is free to do whatever, and the dolph becomes a projectile.

this post was incredibly helpful (the pause at neutral part in particular). thank you. i actually asked this question in the "stupid gameplay questions thread," whether or not there was charge partitioning in gg. they all kind of agreed that the answer was no. posts #1485 thru #1493. in any case, im glad i know it now. related, does anyone know how many frames may has before losing her charge? i couldnt figure it out by just looking at the frame data.

thanks guys, thats what i figured.. with the experiences ive had so far. on a similar note.. yea, b/c charge times are relatively small i can buffer in the necessary charge during certain moves (when playing May and stuff). you have to in order to get her combos down. if charge partitioning were in the game tho, it would just add a whole other level to her (and others') game.

i was browsing srk and found this thread in the tech forum about preforming a certain tech on a hrap vs 360. in any case, the tech he was talking about was "charge partitioning" in 3S and other SF games. is there "charge partitioning" in gg? i know how to charge while doing other things (with may), but in those cases im charging the entire time. can you actually charge.. stop charging.. do a move or something.. charge some more.. and then do the charge move? this was his description of charge partitioning: "*Charge Partitioning: Taking a move that requires charge time (Ie:Sonic boom, flash kick, etc) and breaking up the charge into equal parts. This allows you to effectively charge while doing other multiple actions (dashing, attacking, etc) and still allowing you to do the move in the end. EX: "
