It is nice of you to post, but also very old news.

That's why you shouldn't put any stock into it. People are just speculating what they think might happen.

Because the cast is very large, and they may not be able to include every character in the initial release. These are characters that are less story-relevant, and therefore the ones people consider easiest to cut loose. I don't think anyone wants them gone, but people feel it would at least be justifiable. We have no idea what the cast will look like, so it is purely speculation at this point.

AC+ is legit and they'll be continuing story threads from it Is there any reason it wouldn't be, other than you not liking it? They seemed to make an effort to set up Ky and Dizzy becoming closer, laying the groundwork for Overture. And we know Overture is legit.

According to Madcatz and Markman it is out now, but I've heard that from literally nobody else and I can't check myself right now. Edit: Aaaaaannnnnnnnnnnd he's wrong! I had my doubts when ONE person was tweeting about it, so yeah. Maybe that false start means it is happening soon, though.

It was about six months from SFIV's first loketest to the arcade release, and about a year after that for console. BB was more like eight months from loketest to arcade, and then another eight months to console. Should be out by late 2014 to mid 2015, assuming there are no giant hurdles in development. And that these other two games development cycles are roughly in the same ballpark.

What are those even based on, though? Where are those rumors coming from?

Be mature about the situation? Their admission of the mistake was "We'll chalk this one up to the language barrier." That isn't really a proper or mature apology. I feel like they have handled the situation very poorly.

This is theory fighter. People ignore everything about everything except what they want to be true.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but the screenshots of Elizabeth on the official website seem to indicate that even while playable she will have SP Up status.

It is always nice to dream, but I can't imagine a job like this console port would pack anywhere near that level of content inside. I'm expecting Arcade, Story, Training, Survival, and hopefully a nice big gallery. I would also say that Online Matching and Ranked Matching can't really be considered "extra" modes these days. If you are releasing a fighting game on a console they are necessary. The only fighting game I can even think of on current gen consoles without online if VF5 PS3, and even that changed when it hit 360.
