Makoto noob to Makoto noob. I've been playing for a good while and I spent most of my time in Challenge mode and practicing Parry Loop, but I'm a bit confused as to what her BnBs can be. I came up with one on my own before coming to Dust Loop. I favor 5B > 5CC > 6B > 5C > 2D. Id appreciate if you could give a little insight. Makoto is a wonderful character and I'd really like to improve her basics.

Hi! I have a problem with my friend's Lambda. He spams one string of moves and it really pisses everyone else off. Mash 5C > 6C > 236C (catches in mid air from wall bounce) > j.C > j.2C > jc > j.C > j.2C > Grab or 214 D This usually does about 4400 damage. He tore apart my Hakumen and Makoto, seeing as Act Parser: Cavalier is unblockable anti-air. I've had trouble approaching with both characters and well I'm not sure how to handle this with Makoto. They only need to pull this off twice to win accounting for any other random hits I may take in the set up. Any thoughts? I'd really appreciate any advice. Also if it helps, I've picked up on their tendancy of backdashing to try again if I am out of range of Act Parser, and thats when they start the sword spam.

Hnnng. Well now I feel a bit dumb. X_X I probably should have done more research. Thank you for the advice though! I know what to get now if I end up killing my SE in the modification process. And thank you for clarifying about LizardLick, that really puts me at ease.

Hello! I'm a very avid Blazblue fan and I would like to say it's the first fighter I've taken seriously. By recommendation of a friend, they said if I truly wished to step my game up that I would need to get an arcade stick. I bought a Hori for my 360 for CT and well...I basically bought a $90 dust collector. After researching on the forums last night I bit the bullet and dipped into my wallet. Here's what I ordered: 1x Mad Catz SE (The Street Fighter IV one, I'm still getting used to the shorthand) 6x OBSF-30-W Sanwa buttons And apparently Lizardlick is down until Aug. 9th, but I plan on purchasing: 1x Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Ball Handle Joystick, 4 & 8-Way Adjustable 1x Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate and a white balltop to go with it. And well, this is my first time going this deep into commitment for a fighter. I was hoping to get some opinions or advice on what I am getting. Will this be sufficient for a beginner such as myself or should I start with something else? I'm pretty much working within my budget seeing as it'll set me back a little under $130. Also if anyone knows, does LizardLick have a moderately fast shipping rate? In terms of the octogonal gate and JTF, most of the retailers I find online are shipping from Hong Kong or Europe. Any and all information and help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
