Axis, I would totally love to have a single youtube channel for tager videos, it cans be pretty hard to find them just off of youtube feeds from jourdal / pktazn. I would greatly appreciate it if you did something like that!

I'm a nerdy guy living in lafayette indiana, trying to travel around to scenes and get my BB on with new people. hardly anyone in indiana plays it, they're all nostalgia goggling GG:AC. (which is still an awesome game) two year tager main here, after two years of Mori being afraid to make a good grappler again, at last I have found the promised land. now if only i can train my execution for the new stuff.

heya, i live in indiana, but am totally tilling to drive somewhere in illinois for a day of playing BB and whatnot. where are you guys? chicago or somesuch? if yall have some kind of an organized day of playing / hanging out or somesuch, I would totally be willing to drive on up. i still need to get my hands on / learn EX tager, but I'd love to play with some fellow fans of BB, the more the better. I've got no one at all in my town to play against other than my roommate. that and online only gets hella old. between that and the recent 'we need to grow scenes' and the fact that im not hella poor anymore, i can and will totally travel to play some games.

I still love this game, even if no one int he purdue fighting game club gives a damn about it. I am going to have to totally agree with that axis. When I play against someone, and they apparently have no idea that their blockstring isn't safe, it's a good day. or when they don't know when they should jump cancel some of their pokes, etc. or a mu player who keeps trying to play rushdown without even trying to zone me with steins / 5c/6c. makes me smile. when they do however, I am sad. had several round in a row today against a random good hazama player online. was pretty rage inducing. but you know what is incredibly rage inducing? when on a neutral tech, I want to MTW because i know the opponent is just going to mash some random not safe attack. and I somehow get 6b, when I know I was doing them double fireball rolls. that, is pure rage. lol.

So, what are some of the main things to learn for CS2 Tager? I've mained him since ct, and got fairly proficient in bbcs. I call proficient being able to beat some lambda and hazama online, I don't sledge as a command dash, and i try for tick throw setups / resets, while usually being to do FC combos. most of the time. I know I need to work on my hit-confirm skills, as I tend to autopilot things. like 2c - 3c, when they got hit by the 2c. sadface. what would you guys say is a good Tager player? that standard of competence you should try for? I'm always trying to get better, but I'm still adjusting to the bbcs2 changes. it probably doesnt help that I'm trying to get better at mvc3 as well, lol. alternating playing them in one sitting cna be a bit of a mindfuck sometimes. it leads to things like trying to be rushdown tager.

Am I the only person who wants MikeZ to narrate the Tager video again? it would be a nice nostalgia bomb / be awesome.

Just did a search, and I find that there is no Indiana thread here. Thought I'd fix that. It's kinda hard to ever get to play anyone short of road tripping to Chicago or Cleveland or somesuch. That shit is not cool. If anyone has any ideas at all about what we could do, feel free to post 'em. I've thought about maybe arranging for some casuals / small tourney (I've read the guide), but that'd be quite awkward to plan anything if I don't know who all would be interested / would be available. Anyone who lives in Indiana, roughly where are you, and who do you main? I'll start: I live Lafayette, I main Tager, and would like to think I'm at least halfway competent. and at least vaguely capable with Bang, Jin, Mu-12, and Makoto. Would it be too much to ask for there to actually BE more than corn in Indiana?
