I'm betting on this. Or at least for something amazing. This is probably canon guys. Calling it now. I want him to be a villain. Fabulous villains are the best. Amane is manlier than Bang and Tager and Az combined.

So much backstory on every new character except the one I care about~

Amane is either Tenjo's son or a new villain. I want him to be a villain for some reason cause crazy laugh + fab = the best. But still, where is my chibi style Amane?!!

Why has no one mentioned Amane's airthrow? He makes his outfit into a freaking bow, and uses himself as the arrow to fire at the opponent. Thats gotta be the best air throw I've seen like ever. I spit my drink laughing when I saw that.

It just means they're experimenting with new stuff for a character, sometimes yeah that means just taking away all their shit for no real reason. It doesn't have to have any logic really, if it makes sense to them then thats that. Honestly, they may have taken away things but give him other stuff that people just haven't found yet. And yeah, if if that ISN'T the case, it's just the first loljoketest. So just relax. If it's still like that in the final version, then it's time for crying~

Haha I'm a fanboy... Anyways, those vids got me even more hyped for him. His C moves look like amazing zoning tools, I love that they pull the opponent towards you. Though I'm saddened that we got like, no footage of the player using his drive. You'd think that'd be the thing they'd wanna mess with the most. Watching those same C's go through the opponent over and over again... His 236/214AorB jumps are super awesome too, the mixups yo. j.2B description sorta reminded me of carl j.2C a tad, cept multi-hitting. Also, he prances rather then dashes. All dashes in his combos should say prance. I've always played zoner types when I can, though even I won't play them if I'm not fond of the design. Amane's design is the best design in BB so far imho. I've always been a fan of the fab-boys.

Auto-combos are weird. Yo this game is fun but I dunno if I can play it super seriously. I want my Amane.

I'm not worried about Nu coming back, because if she does she'll probably be more Lambda than Nu. CT Nu is long gone guys.

Oh it's only the first real day of any info being out. I'll bet you her playstyle as well as the Nu/Lam style come back in some form. Theres probably a lot of stuff thats gonna be exclusive to consoles as well, so even if we don't see her in arcade release theres a strong chance they could be playable somehow when it hits home consoles. Either way I have Amane so I'm good.

Henceforth his meter is fab-levels. I like it.

Thanks for this! With that said, I'm definitely curious as to how he gains more levels now. He could gain them slowly over time ala Hakumen's magatama, or through landing certain moves like Bang's seals. I think I'd prefer gaining them either over time or through charging like Tsubaki. I also wonder if it's like Tsubaki in that he loses a level when he uses moves, or if it's more like Labrys's axe levels from P4U in that it stays that way until it runs out. I'm guessing higher levels mean more powerful attacks, maybe different properties of the moves it affects.

Yeah I'm mega jelly. :D Any shred of info I can get on His Fabulousness is super appreciated. I'm sure everyone feels the same about their own respective characters.

If you can, I'd REALLY like to know anything about what the different levels for Amane's drive do, like how higher and lower ones affect it, as well as how he earns more levels.

Lol, no fun allowed. I guess to me it seems natural for people to be hype and chatty about this long awaited announcement, so having a thread to vent it in seems, to me, logical, but eh. Not my website~ I understand with a site this huge, cutting back on the clutter is pretty important though.
