  1. Hokuto Zankai Ken rocks! Sure everybody gets a laugh when you miss or it gets knocked out of in a stupid way but hey when you land it. You basically look like a genius to all the onlookers when you land it. hehe I landed it a few times in serious matches. It's funny to see your opponent sweat and make stupid mistakes when they try to rush you down but they are already dead!!!!!!!! There is only one theoretical way that I have in mind to land it. My theory is that you must have a vanishing strike hit them while they are in the air from half screen away then do it and boost before they fall below the hit point. Ganzenryozanha: 6A It can mixup only people who fall asleep but once they catch on then don't use it again on them. It's a really slow overhead compared to say like rei's souther's or juda's. 2B 2B 2D AC, D 236D > IAD j.C (???) Kenoh air recovered out before the D can hit. but you can jump after them the AC and do A, C, hokuto heizan or his DP........takes one star. 2B 2B D 236D > IAD j.C J C can be air recovered before it hits. Musou Tensei Gives Ken the ability to parry high attacks by hitting Forward as the attack strikes him. Can he parry low attacks at all? I've yet to parry a low attack in all the times i attempted it.
  2. ken have any infinite? dunno what you trying to say there bruno o amongst my firends we call anything that takes 100% life an infinite and we got used to it ever since marvel super heroes........

  4. ok i got the far D vanishing combo to work. I noticed the CD will miss if the far D hit at the tip of ken's foot. was trying out his infinite but it turns out that the last air D kick before the tenha kassatsu is air recoverable. so i decided to switch to C and got it to work. however I don't know if it's a true combo. anyone can confirm by having 2p jam on the air recovery?

(actual input: far D~E -> 2CD~CD) went back to noho's post this on the 2nd or 3rd page. that required a boost. if it's only close D then i haven't experimented with it that much since i tap D 2x for combos usually. guess i gotta go try both close and far D then. i sure could use a banishing combo starter for ken that doesn't require boost. on the other hand, raoh's far D banishing is much more reliable since it hits crouchers but ken's far D misses.
  6. lite i got problems with filebank. I think Noho or someone mentioned that rei was a special case for his D to CD to hit and it had to be the close D. tell me this though does he use a boost for the cd then?
  7. kenshiro's D to banishing doesn't combo even though it looks like it does. he still needs to boost cancel it to register it as a combo.
  8. o that kid? he rarely plays hnk. in fact i never seen him play it. it's some guy with mushroom type hair he lost badly against the comp and took his frustration out on both of the controllers......... since this is the popular hnk thread, I'll post some info here too. I think the D after an AC knockup combo with kenshiro in the corner is air recoverable. so don't rely on it.
  9. wassup all nohoho is curryallergy? i have to say thanks for your great movelist faq in gfaqs. last time i saw the hnk controls at kongman were messed up by the moron who uses souther all the time. i was playing it the day before he showed up and they were fine till he messed up both sides.......
