  1. I saw the invite, sorry for not showing up. Was bussy for most of the day saturday and couldn't make it.
  2. Its cool, I ended up messing around with GG and taking some Ls in EXVS. Edit: Also if there is a new player lobby, please throw me an invite. I always need more practice,
  3. I got back late today and played a set for about an hour and a half against someone so don't have much time today. I certainly don't mind tips and suggestions, if I can show up at a good time for you. Don't know how much I can learn though. My execution is terrible and my reactions are even worse, the only thing I can really do is just press buttons expecting that they work and hold that punish when they don't.
  4. I just play ranked because I can get random matches while mashing buttons in training mode. My execution needs work and I feel like I am still so new to this that any match against a human player is a potential learning experience. Even if I fail to learn anything, because I am terrible and it takes forever for me to figure anything out. There is always that pressure for me when playing in lobbies that I just might be wasting someone else's time when going against better players. The skill levels are all over the place as well as network quality.
  5. I guess you must have picked him up more recently or something because you blew me up in ranked with Narukami. But that was great too because I don't get to see players use OMC to make their pressure safe and punish someone for trying to poke out of it. I mean I have no idea how or when to use meter on defense or offense, all its good for is supers for me.
  6. Hey everyone, I picked up P4AU when it came out so I could learn it along with other new players to the game. I am rather new to 2D fighters in general, I don't post here much and it's mainly in the EXVS section. I know I am rather scrubby and I picked a scrubby character like Minazuki to play since he is so easy. To be honest I don't even know what character I would like to play. I really just want to get practice games in with other people to get a feel for fighting games and actually figure out how I want to play them.
  7. Ah ok, still its probably better to argue price point from the content the game has. I mean Xrd is $50 in US right now, comparing prices between regions muddies things up so much more.
  8. On average games are more expensive in Japan. There was also an increase in the tax rate this year as well so the PSN prices increased for everything.
  9. Can I get a quick explanation of Minazuki's safe jump set up?
  10. Huh surprised to see a few people from east coast Canada here. Guess I'll throw out my info because I kinda want to see what more local players to me are like. Location: Canada East Coast, TO JP PSN: Lostwhitey PSN: Lostconfused Time: Evenings, after 5/6 PM until 1 AM EST I feel like I am a somewhat experienced player, started on EXVS vanilla when it released.
  11. On the other hand all the command grab attempts got blown up the 1st round. Actually 1st round of the 1st match by a DP and the 2nd round after that by a super. I guess those are just bad reads?
  12. I guess that's a good indicator of how easy it is to use.
  13. Yeah I got all of those variations down, other than the extra C and sweep in the corner. I am looking to move on to something a bit more complex than that.
  14. So far I can only do 5A>5AA>5B>2B>214B>4B>4B combo with Minazuki, and possibly the teleport into that chain. The delay 4AB>2A combo extension is impossible for me, I haven't even mashed it out randomly by chance after trying to half an hour or so. What are some of the other easy ones I can try to pick up instead to improve my ability to play this character. Edit: Also what are good opportunities for using 2D 5D, it seems like an incredibly bad idea to just throw them out randomly.
  15. I would totally go for this but the last time I saw you in a lobby it was a 2 bar connection.
