Chrono Phantasma Story Discussion [fun tentatively allowed again]
kylehyde replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Does Jubei or anyone else elaborate on why Noel is the only one that can save Jin? Or what she's supposed to do exactly? I remember that was something that came up in Noel's story mode in CS. Jubei mentioned that Noel was the only one who could save Jin, I thought it sounded really important and just wanted to know if it's touched upon further in CP. -

Let's not forget that Celica and Jubei consider Ragna to be the unsung hero of the darkwar. I believe you mentioned that Celica considers Ragna to be a "Yuusha." To me that gives some credibility of Ragna being said Hero in the story. And wow, Rachel actually tells Nu to go back to the bottom of hell? That certainly isn't a good sign... I believe Toxin had mentioned in a previous post that English wasn't his first language, so it's not that surprising that his sentences sometimes don't make too much sense. I'll give him a pass. Although double posting, no way. -

Well when you put it that way Nu seems to be the only viable option at this point. However given that Rachel knows everything and more than likely knows who that girl is, I'm surprised she doesn't take a more personal stake on what happens to Nu. I mean I don't know if she does, does she even mention Nu by name or at least talks about her in CP? The only thing I can recall of Rachel ever mentioning Nu is during Calamity Trigger when she calls her a poor little doll. And I'm pretty sure Remix Heart will end by the time BlazeBlue 4 comes rolling around two years from now. -

Could be because of the armor then. Although like I said I really know next to nothing about Lambda so I was just throwing it out there as a possibility and nothing more. I think Lambda has the same ponytail Nu has. Which is exactly why (to me) she looks a lot like Nu. I can't remember if Ragna commented on it but I think he mistook Lambda for Nu one time. Although I'm not sure if it was in the anime or in the game. Also taking into account if she had the armor on or not at the time. -

Nice to know that the running Noel gag continues lol. Well if that's the case then maybe he has met Nu before. edit: Maybe he knew Lambda? Although I must admit that I know practically nothing about Lambda's past. But she and Nu do look awfully alike. -

Could it be that he recognizes Nu's face because of her resemblance to Saya? But that wouldn't hold up if he doesn't react the same way towards Noel. Saya seems to be a central figure in the world of Blazblue, wouldn't surprise me If he has met her before. -

Well certainly all the talk with Celica about how Ragna was a different kind of hero does some foreshadowing of some kind. Does It make sense if Saya/Izanami is the girl in the book? I mean Saya is the girl and Izanami is the monster. If you kill the monster your basically killing the girl at the same time. Although obviously Saya is not inside Amaterasu so there is that too. -

Finding Ragna shouldn't be that hard considering Rachel knows where he is at all times. If she wanted she could just teleport Jin or Tsubaki right to Ragna so they could finish him. That is assuming she still has enough power to use teleportation at all. Regardless I agree that the Blazblue is not something simply black and white. There is a hidden power that only Ragna can use most likely. At least that's what I think since it being fake doesn't take away from its importance in Rachel's eyes. And yeah the whole Protector of Azure thing still needs to be explained. Jubei certainly didn't know if Ragna would choose that path or that of the Destroyer. -

I can't really see anyone saving Ragna at this point. At the most I can see Celica calming him down if he can still notice people's faces or maybe hear her voice. Noel could probably have the same effect. But as for reversing the fact that he has to die or else the end of the world I find it doubtful. However I don't see him dying as a bad thing for the story. So it kind of leads me to believe that Mori does have that in mind and is going to run with it. Rachel is going to die too no doubt. At least that's my predicition. I'm assuming that Ragna's body would be the one dying while his soul will continue to exist. He is an artificial being, he could just get a new body. However if his soul is what's evil then he is shit out of luck -

I was hoping that the little short "Rose Red" story in the CP Materials Collection would shed some more light on her past or the reasons she does the things she does. But no such luck. Wishful thinking that they might release one more novel or something that can answer all questions leading up to BB4, fingers crossed. -

For whatever reason I still feel like Rachel is on Ragna's side. She hasn't been whispering to herself for Ragna to never give up for nothing. -
That's too bad, their not all garbage some of them are decent hell even good.

I really hope the anime comes out stateside. Don't give a damn about the criticisms I would buy it in a heartbeat. Especially if they would be able to get the English voice talent from the games to reprise their roles.

That's quite interesting, I'm only speculating here but maybe the reason why Izanami let him live was to be able to utilize him later on. Pretty much what happened at the very end of CP where she made him go berserk and unleashed the "beast." Hazama might of already known that there was a hidden power within Ragna that could potentially derail his plans, so the best thing for him to do was get rid of him now that his usefulness had run up. And I'm pretty sure Immortal Breaker can kill Ragna. If it's strong enough to kill Rachel then Ragna should fall easily to it. Ragna doesn't really come off to be that strong, anyone can potentially kill him. -

You know now that you mention that the power of order is protecting the corrupt order of the current world. I always found it odd when Rachel mentioned that Jin is the anti body that the world needs in order to fight off the disease (Ragna). I mean when you look at it that way, Jin is the bad guy, the one that Jubei and Rachel should be fighting against. Yet instead they help him get stronger and make it even a greater challenge for Ragna to win against someone like Jin. Which is weird because Rachel wants Ragna to destroy the world's current order. So why make it that much harder for him? -

So when Ragna answered to Rachel that he would be able to kill Saya does that mean he's no longer fighting to free her? -

Didn't he have like psychological pain when he tried to remember what happened during the Ikaruga War? Maybe that stuff is catching up to him. Need to play the game to find out for myself. -

I think that the "healing treatment" was meant for that one fight with Ragna. -

Jin getting pains because he's getting more powerful is kind of silly, even for this game. -

I guess if the creators are lazy a lot of it can just be chalked up to reincarnation. Important Xblaze characters reincarnated into the current cast of Blazblue. But if I'm not mistaken, wasn't Ragna's remark about him having someone else's soul just an English translation error. I don't think he says that in the original Japanese dialogue. -
Thanks for all that awesome art you guys.

Back in CS Takamagahara mentioned that Ragna was the origin, do they elaborate on this in CP? I mean origin of what? The BB? -

Ragna not being able to use ars magus just reminds me that he was the least talented of the three. -

Considering the next game is possibly the last, I doubt this very much. Besides that, Jin doesn't need the Susano O unit. Unless he plans to jump into some more cauldrons. -

Toxin your asking if Hakumen is going to become a true from to Jin? Last time I checked Hakumen is Jin and has always been stronger than Jin. So yes, Hakumen will be Jin's super mode.
