  1. Against forward roll and playing dead 2B into w/e works, I haven't found or tested against back roll yet. iirc I tried 2D, but neutral tech into mashing blows that up hard. Learn to block a lot, then learn to IB at least the more abusable pressure options that other characters have (Or at least what your opponent is abusing), then learn how character's gatlings generally flow so you don't get fatal'd and know when it's a good idea to barrier block to push them out of range. 623B is a rubbish risk on wakeup, but once you're good at IB'ing it does a good enough job of interrupting pressure. Smart players will be aware of that and will most likely try to bait it out, and if you read that you can use that as a chance to escape. Chicken blocking and such is nice, but learning to be patient and block helps a lot in learning the opponent's tendencies, which is obviously important for more than just defense. On the topic of playstyle, outside of crappy-ish mixups and meh average damage, Terumi seems p versatile. He can fairly decently keep out characters that want to get in while still being able to pretty easily get in on those that want to do the opposite, and starting/keeping pressure on both . His offense sort of reminds me of MB or KoF in that his mixup stuff is all somewhat reactable so you have to be unpredictable instead of just relying on a single setup/string. Neutral is pretty much reactionary in that you play based on the other character and the opponent's playstyle/habits. He's also really goddamn annoying to play against because his shit is so safe, he can constantly stagger during his pressure, 6A is hella good AA, and jD is really annoying to beat/get around for some characters (Though the recovery is kind of deceptive).
  2. After a pretty long set, I can pretty safely say that forcebreak Skull is a pretty big pain in the ass for Justice. Missiles don't cancel it and Justice can't get away from it easily so it seems like it's a free curse at the least, giving Testament easy offense or letting him timer scam if he has a healthy life lead. This really feels like one of those matchups where you want to get in and kill him asap, even though he can't really threaten Justice full-screen otherwise. EXE Beast is too slow now and he can't really react to missile startup with teleport so he has to be guessy with it and risk giving Justice a free throw. His maximum range for normals is higher than Justice's, but from what I could tell nothing is really threatening at that range besides 2HS which seems to get bodied by Justice 5S pretty handily, though max range 3HS is irritating as keep-out. Once Justice is within her ideal normal range she controls Testament pretty well, the problem is getting in close enough to murder the bastard when he can pretty easily get EX skull out and sit on trees or rush you down. Maybe ST on reaction to skull works if its recovery is long enough, I didn't really try it when I was playing and haven't really seen a lot of this matchup in JP vids. Regardless I still need a lot more exp with this matchup, right now it feels like it can get ugly for Justice pretty easily.

  4. The opening post should be put on the front page. Good shit Klaige, though it's unfortunate the majority of FG players (Or gamers in general) will never mature to that point. There's always gonna be elitists in this and every other community, we just have to stay better than that and be positive.
  5. Fuck yeah shitty C super burst to shit to D super combos! For D super at this point I just try to stick to what I'm sure will work, and if I don't know for sure I just let it go lol. P.S. Shoutouts to Iora for the DP + 22A tech, having another way to make people not mash dee pee is always nice.

I could easily be wrong (And can't bring up anything off the top of my head that isn't anecdotal) but there were times that TOTALLY FELT LIKE I DIDN'T DO D SUPER TOO LATE OR SOMETHING I SWEAR lol. It most frequently happens with random a2a or 2B AA confirms, which are where things like variable height etc feel like they can screw it up. Sorry I can't give anything concrete though :/ Also I got drunk and bored and read back on the thread a bit, I know the 22x oki thing is a bit old but off like 2As into 2A+B xx 22A, dash 2A should be meaty if done properly even with green axe. Tested it a while back and I explicitly remember not being able to roll out of that on wakeup compared to immediate 2A+B after 22A. Granted if that 2A hits then the rest of your combo does pretty sad damage, but gotta take what you can get.
  7. I've had trouble with the D super dropping out too, even on short combos where hitstun proration shouldn't come up. From what I understand, D super dropping on juggles is a combination of height, distance (They should be right up in your shit after 214B, and at least a bit above you during jC) and hitstun proration. Character specific hurtboxes prolly mess with it too. It's prolly in your best bet to just find stable ways to do it and stick with those since like you said, trading a round/match win for eating a full punish or spending an extra 50 meter to save your ass is all sorts of shitty.

Priority wise she isn't Labrys or Mitsuru, but she has a lot of options in the air , and jA/jAA as a mixup/pressure option (Especially jAAA from IAD in the corner) isn't too bad along with her other options. Also, unless you're landing like very top hit jA or at its very tip on crossup then 2A generally connects fine.

  10. Cheat. Specifically, I did whatever shit into EX qcb+K,qcb+B f+B dp+A dc qcb+D, qcb+B f+B then the super. You can do her real DP dc tatsu BnB shit into it too but the one I did is pretty damned easy and doesn't require much in the way of timing.

  12. 75% Right. Vs Tager = Win until Rachel made three mistakes, one of which is eating a whiff into 720. Granted the Rachel didn't go for the high damage stuff most of the time. Vs. Haku = lose.
  13. lol "only 5K" off an invincible reversal that when used with IB can turn blockstrings into absolute jokes. Not to mention Hazama pretty much pisses meter.

  15. It'll presumably have recovery. Use it at the wrong point and you eat a combo.
  16. It sounds like they made her 2D more akin to her current 5D... If that's the case, it does make charge canceling borderline unusuable. Again, as long as she gets better shit with charge than she's currently got then it's all good.
  17. If they buff the stuff she can do with charges, I'll take it (Especially if her 5B is better in general).
  18. lolwhat Her air throw combos were already height specific, her 623 A was already a pretty shitty DP and her 236 A and throw were nerfed? I hope some of this is just a bad translation lol. I guess I can live with not canceling stuff into 2D if I have a 2B5B string, and higher emphasis on gaining + spending charge is fine if the damage justifies it.
  19. True, but it's just an xbl tourney anyway. Not like it's a huge deal lol. Even having said that, I'm not really down for it since I generally get kinda shitty connections with west coast peeps. If there's absolutely nobody else to fill a spot and I've got some spare time I might do it... Although I'm prolly among the worst people on this board lol.
  20. Personally, all I really want is to do a bit more damage across the board, and to turn 6B into an okay poke (Less range on the first hit + faster startup and I'd take it). Better DDs (Range, damage, or utility-wise) would also be nice.
  21. I've got a quick one: I can't seem to land Tsubaki's throw, 5BB etc combo on Hazama. The second B always whiffs for me, and if I just do it without it the j.CC whiffs most of the time. Is it due to my crappy execution or does he just out-troll Tsubaki by screwing up her BnBs?
