Ok, here is a combo thread finally. I've updated the relaunch combo list to include everyone now. Also linked the two tutorials that japan made. I've received several PMs from 2-3 guys who spent a lot of time transcribing these vids. I will post them eventually because I need to correct them / put them in an easier reading format. How bad does everyone need to know the notation for some combos? I've left out any midscreen combos that are basically N amount of normals into 3C 214DA or 236D. I'll add them too if people want but it's pretty much just bitch combos to either bring them to the corner or build meter. I am actually going to update it soon with hit confirms off certain moves, probably now or in the next couple of hours. Pretty much: 1) How bad do people need those vids notated in this thread? 2) How bad do people need to be told how to do useless combos midscreen?

You could do 5A 2A / 2A 2A / etc Hotenjin and still get the relaunch off if you omit 214DC. You can do 5A Hotenjin full relaunch combo.

I have never had a problem with dash 6C after j6DD. As far as I know there's no special trick to it. I do j6DD 66C and it works every time.

That combo doesn't even work in CS2.

Harder isn't the right word. He still only has 2-3 combos max, they're just longer and require more specific situations than CS1. The only thing harder about hazama is hit confirming anything in to big damage. PS. It's not a full dash. For example, videos show command throw dash up 5a or 5b. That's the type of dash you do after j6dd. You should barely notice it.

This drama is delicious. Just like to point out the troll facts that this shot only happens when WC is involved. Stay fucking everything up guys. Anyway I was involved in the Slash to AC tourney shit. Yeah the majority did want it and people tried their hardest in the time allowed. No, GG players aren't superior beings that can adapt over BB. However, slash to AC, even though they changed the system dramatically, it was still guilty gear. It just added new shit. People had more tools yo work with for the most part in a system that allowed for more freedom. CS2 is not GG though. They mostly limited the broken system; nerfed IB, jump frames, and all the dumb shit that CS is famous for. Then they nerfed chars. Then they put Platinum in. Then they made Noel top tier for some reason. Most chars are more constrained in a lesser system. It's completely different adapting to something like that compared to GG that just gave you more freedom. I don't know if CS1 should stay or CS2 should be allowed. Half the good players want cs1, other half want cs2. Shit is kinda tough. In my opinion it seemed smart for revelations to be the last hurrah for CS1 as someone posted (think Stickbug, on my phone though). The first major for a game is big for attracting attention to others. Dunno if GottaCatchAllTheScrubsLoop wants negative attention for cs2 at rev or a hype evo scenario. All I know is I'm not going! Congrats to EC placing top 2 in that online tourney. Hold that Vet Coast (we still cool though).

I'm not at home so Icant give solid advice on it but If you're not willing to put hours into training mode for a char, why are you playing this game? I mean maybe you're really busy but if that's the case you should probably check out easier chars. EDIT: Because this subject bothers me Ive said in the past that if anyone has a problem they can PM me and I'll do my best to answer it. I'll even give advice on training mode If you guys notice you can't do something, watch a vid ad see if you could figure it out from that. Try to do it enough times until you feel that it's not your fault and the method just doesn't work. Then try the inputs a completely different way. Slow it down or speed it up. And keep trying until you get it to work or yu know it won't then move on again. I'm not shitting on anyone here. I'm trying to help and seeing some of these posts just makes me sad.

Uhhhhhh I only rush down in CS1 against any character that's not top 3 / Tager because there's nothing-to-little they could do to stop Hazama. I chill full screen against Litchi / Bang because that's the smartest and safest option Hazama has against those 2 There's no reason to rush down Tager with Hazama. Like, at all. Not even in a "i'm being funny!" way. Any wrong guess results in you eating unnecessary damage. Why do that when you could be at the opposite end of the screen hitting D and smiling? Hazama's mixup (in CS1) is godlike Backdash blowing up Hazama's mixup is lol. The reason Hazama is godlike is because he has no glaring weakness to exploit while being solid in everything else PS: I watched a minute of one of those videos before turning it off. Learn better Hazama combos, learn to hit confirm, don't stand still, mash on D. PPS: Axis is smart.

4-7K depending on starter and not including ending with 3C 632146C. So... 5 - 8.2K if ending with that super. Any combo that involves Hotenjin you gain about 45 - 53ish meter back. If you start a combo with 214DC(1 or 2) you gain 76 meter.

214DA damage buff means absolutely nothing if you can no longer combo off level 1. That means you do less damage overall. You can combo off level 1 214DA on crouching Tager and Hakumen with 5A. You can combo off level 2 214DA with 2A / 5A / 5B / Hotenjin.

So, new discovery guys. After doing all that I never actually tried to do combos off a raw Hotenjin. So I tried a few minutes ago and I can't get some of the combos I posted above to work. So I now I have to see if I can get anything to work or if I have to settle for bitch combos. What a ass backwards shit fuck crappy stupid game. EDIT: You could only do non-bitch combos on a FC Hotenjin. THAT'S NOT ALL THOUGH Raw Hotenjin combos do less damage than normal into Hotenjin This game is Jokes™.
