I don't think that was the case, cause it happened right during the beginning of the recovery animation, but I guess that could be a possibility.

Odd thing happened to me while playing today. I was playing single player as toki, and I activate the fatal K.O against heart. I messed up the timing so I now I didn't catch him OTG. Instead the moves catches him as he is standing up.
