  1. Can I just remind people that this message still exists: Well, I happened to see all of this while checking here, so I guess that makes it yet another person that gotten involved, unfortunately. Aki- and Surf. You guys are acting like babies man, but Surf I'm honestly not surprised to see this from you! I'm sure people haven't said anything about Aki- probably because they know he's not playing too seriously and is just having fun like a couple of other people I know. There's no need to get wiled up about it, and it's online anyway. This is the internet man. If you guys want to try and schedule when your next play date is, I beg you guys do it over PM please. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I hate handing out infractions but I will do so where I find it strictly appropriate to do so. Surf admittedly though I think your testosterone is way too high man. You need to calm that shit down, you are arguing OVER A GAME HERE. You have a life right? Look away from this and just carry on with your shit. Fuck sake! I guess you wanted to try and fight me when I told you to hold that shit in the Tsubaki Forum right? Well unless you pack your bags and get yo ass to London this is all just some silly ass shit. Grow up people. Yeah I don't mind playing against anyone but it's dangerously laggy against people from EC? I dunno, I guess it's on and off. For some reason I had a 1 bar connection with DerQ when I was in the lobby and he's in Canada right? It may be fine with you, we'll have to see. Though your second statement seems to go against wanting to play me, heh. Well fuck.
  2. What's the damage? With and without the 5A? Sorry I know it seems I'm asking for a lot but if I could play right now I'd do it myself.
  3. Thanks man that means a lot to me. Oh btw, that j.214C throw bait I did was actually accidental lol. I didn't expect it to work like that. Good to know I guess! Learnt something new! Well till next time man! I hope our connection is more stable next time!
  4. GGs KaiserCX. Definitely jealous of your Valk movement, I'm gonna need to bang out training mode once again. What's even more surprising to me is how you were able to utilise it in our connection. Seriously well done. You've made me so proud, LOL. I hope I gave you some really good exp on the Tsubaki matchup. You handled it well on the defence, using barrier and poking me at the right times. Neutral is pretty dumb though haha but I do like how you were punishing my 236C on whiff sometimes, I've gotta learn to space that right. Your valk is probably the only one I prioritise rush down over charge in neutral and I think it's because you're pretty unpredictable with your wolf movement at times! Anyway man, i didn't mean to analyse you like this ha! GGs man, your valk is good and I love it! I think my neutral in the Valk mirror has leveled up so I'm pretty happy about that. Give yourself more credit though. Abadlime was right, us Valk players (well most of us) are way too modest.
  5. Tsubaki can stick to the opponent like glue once she's in, due to her flexibility. I could be wrong in saying this, but Mu doesn't have many normals to fall on for mixup, and once you get into her C normals you've pretty much lost your mixup, since they put you out of range. You've gotta be good in switching between stein placement and when to go on the offensive with her. Good stein placement means better field control, which means players will generally find it more difficult to get in. I won't recommend on whether you should sub or main her as it depends on how far you're willing to go with her and stuff. I'd say give yourself more time with Mu before making such a decision.

  7. Alright. I thought Zouf was talking about a different version or somethin'.
  8. Done. Also updated information on wolf movements. -I know this isn't appropriate for this thread so any discussions regarding this please take it to general gameplay thread-
  9. I haven't had success with your method. Has anyone else been successful? Nice thank you for doing this!
  10. Ute! Anything he does into 236A (zettou - the hop) can be beaten with 5D > w5B if you have the reaction for it. I understand the matchup is a pain due the fact that many combos do not work on him but let's point them out as a reminder. With corner combos you need to delay the 6B after 2C otherwise the 2nd hit will whiff, or you could just do 6B(1) > 236C > 236A > etc which is an easier confirm but deals less damage. In addition corner combos involving 236A may whiff occasionally because he's too high, so you need to slightly delay the 5B/2C. It's kinda awkward to get in when it comes to Amane because of his long range air normals, but he does extend his hurtbox whilst using them so don't be surprised if you hit him with a w5B when you're not close.
  11. Nice one mate. On a side note, there's more Game Chariot. Tsucchi (LI) vs Konan (TS) Hasegawa (HZ) vs Konan (TS) - To 9:37
  12. Kokonoe 214214A: Valk Punish Thank you Naphiel.
  13. Kokonoe 214214A: Tsubaki Punish Credits to TGR and Ivysaur for coming up with it.
  14. Yeah the timing is weird on some j.D > j.C combos. Sometimes you need to input the following j.C immediately, other times you have to slightly delay it and use it when you're much closer to the ground. Here. In this case I think you're supposed to do it immediately.
  15. Learning CSE Tsubaki will give you a basic understanding of her combo theory and the type of pressure/mixup she has. IAD j.CC combos are still used and you will still be using 5A xN, 6B and charge cancels to reset pressure. You'll also learn how to use your attacks in neutral for example. You'll still be relying on 5B for instance for the poke game and 236X > 214D is still quite useful for getting in (although it covers more ground in CP). The stuff that you may learn which could be a waste is stuff like: 3CC RC Combos 3C© cross up stuff which no longer autocorrects in CP. 623C > j.236A(whiff) > j.214D combos
  16. I agree that you've improved. You've jumped quite the hurdle. I also agree that you should optimise your combos particularly the w5C > 6D > j.A corner combos in which you should be hitting 3.5k+. Sometimes, during your combos you use 236C on standing opponents and I'm not sure why that is like at 43:18 for example. Other times you use 236B on crouching opponents where you could've followed up with 236C instead. With baiting DPs, remember there are numerous ways for you to bait DPs on wakeup. A well spaced w5C can make all (if not most) DPs whiff. With Jin, remember you can use wolf brake j.A on their wakeup not only for a quick instant overhead but as an OS if Jin opts to DP since his are slow (more information in strategy guide on character specifics). Speaking of which, try to incorporate wolf j.A into your game, it would make your mixup even better. Also on a side note Magaki, Jin's 6A is just one of the few problems. When Jin freezes you, you're in mixup, and he has a variety of options including throw (which that player used), crossups, and overheads. Stellar I think you just need to get used to Jin more is all. This is something I say often to players regarding characters with DPs. I understand being scared of DPs, but if you respect your opponent, you'll give them no reason to DP. You need to induce fear into the player and encourage them to DP at times. Sure you'll get hit at times, but if you're running away in wolf then they won't DP at all. Try the various oki options in the strategy guide by Magaki. 8j.B > 8j.B > j.C enders are good for baiting DPs with a well spaced w5C for instance. You may also want to make the opponent tech in the air with the Masashi ender or the wolf setup into 6B (both of which need some updating). The Joker ender is also quite good (Not sure how effective it is in CP).
  17. 11/24 MAXIM HERO Tapyu K (AZ) vs Boku Zen (VK) Jiku (BA) vs Boku Zen (VK) | Part 2 Miu (JI) vs Boku Zen (VK) | Part 2 Genbu (PT) vs Boku Zen (VK) Kyoju (CA) vs Boku Zen (VK) These are not bad at all!
  18. Heh. Edited the post with another match against Miya's Jin. At 15:58 against Miya, Konan uses j.C > 5CC > 22D > 6BB > [4]6C oki which is nice. The only thing that bothers me about this is the fact that Konan used it from a decent confirm which would've racked up about 3.7k. I'd recommend using that sort of oki from weaker starters without CT, such as 5A > 5BB > 5CC > 22D > 6BB > [4]6C.
  19. Guess who shows up at Game Chariot again. 11/30 Denpo (RG) vs Konan (TS) Miya (JI) vs Konan (TS)
  20. Yeah I have noticed that actually, though I don't remember when exactly the invul frames kick in. Errol pointed this out a while ago. Yeah, the combo is listed in the thread. Nets you 4411 Damage and 18 heat. Using another charge for an extra 400 damage isn't bad at all although I may not recommend using it if 2 charge is all you have. It's also important to note that there is a minor difference in damage depending on the number of hits from tk.236D > j.214D. 4.3k - 4.4k to be exact.
  21. Nice man. Thanks for that. If you don't want to use CT, you go into the standard 6C > j.D > j.C combo, or 6C > 623C > delay j.214A > 5C > 2C > ender. They both deal 3.5k so I suggest going for the former since it's easier.
