This match-up is all about spacing Tager correctly until there's a chance to go in for big damage (usually once you push him near the corner). Be careful with your long range pressure though, as Tager can instant block > 720 your 5C, and you'll seriously had have yomi'd an ID to live through it (No gatlings would save you) Both characters are trying to punish the other's mistakes in this match-up. Ragna is going to have to take risks at some point if he wants to get damage, but dont' approach stupidly or predictably. Play the footies game until Tager makes a mistake of his own for you to capitalize on. That's all I've got for now, nothing specific yet.

It's called a "Trap". Embrace it. Yeah. Tsuntsun has steak tits. :3 -
In any combo you can get a knockdown in by 2D or 3C (or Carnage Scissors), 22C is possible. Most of Ragna's corner combos can end in 22C, but people opt for Hell's Fang for the heat in addition to the alright oki it provides. 22C is used for the stagger state and damage addition.

What Dusk said a couple of posts above, our spacing still beats hers. We must abuse this to prevent further advancements upon our territory by the Blinded Battle Frontâ„¢. I've also found, on her A DP, 2B causes a trade that neither character can make something out of (i.e. kind of returns the situation to neutral). It has something to do with the invul on her A DP, I'm not completely sure, but it's happened enough times.

Coming in from the Ragna side, the biggest thing Rachel has on him is her zoning. He honestly has to sit there and be patient throughout a lot of the match. Be careful about throwing out George alot, as Ragna's 2D, 5C, and 3C kill him. 3C is most often used because it is jump cancellable. DP and 6A naturally beat Rachel's air options, but Rachel's 6A does the same against Ragna. Punish him for not spacing correctly with his air normals using that. Also, watch for Deadspike, as it can bait Cat Chair as well as bursts when used properly, and is a big part of his pressure game now, making everything safer and tighter. Ragna's like to go into Deadspike after a blocked 2C or 5C. if it's on 2C, there's a good chance you can poke him out, as 2C does not have as high of blockstun as 5C, and I've been poked out of 2C > DS several times. 6A > DS is also an easy thing to attempt to poke out through, for the same reason as 2C, and he has to be at close range for 6A to even connect with your hitbox. 6A is also not as useful in pressure for Ragna since it has no gatlings, so he's always either going to jump away, IAD, or use a special off it. Be ready to counter him for attempting any of those after a blocked 6A. As said before, it's in your best interest to keep Ragna faaar away from the corner, as you will have a hard time getting out. Anything he attempts into 6D can be Cat Chair'd, 6D has really slow start up, and leads to really good pressure and mix-up options. Give it any disrespect you can. This match-up, I feel, is pretty similar to CT Rachel vs Ragna, albeit not as strongly in Rachel's favor. We gotta be close to do any good damage, so keeping us away is best! (I hope this helps, I can't help but feel you guys all already know this kind of stuff >.<)

I bring you greetings from the Ragna forums. -
Outside of off 5C, they can try to use TK swallow moon (or just regular swallow moon), to try to cross-up or go for a quick overhead. I've even had them use it at neutral. It was in situations like that where I found 6A and Divider useful.
-
I did. I've still found them useful a lot of the time (though like any anti-air option, they can be baited).
-
I actually have fun with this match-up. D:

I feel like it's his mobility and nails that get in the way. Ragna definitely beats his range, and his 5B will beat Bang's 5B when spaced properly. x__x I don't know about 5.5 in Ragna's favor, though, cause there's just too much for Ragna to keep track of in this match-up. And if Bang gets FRKZ, he becomes a lot lot harder to block. All I really have on this match-up is try to keep and control your space. Stay out of his 5A range, and don't try to fight him up close. Try to make the most of long range hitconfirms (Ragna can get some nice stuff with meter off them), and keep him from getting in. I might be approaching it wrong, but that's how I kinda feel it should be played.
