  1. I full screen carnage scissors and it hits you. The demoralization is intense. Not for me though, I'm too busy running around the room yelling.
  2. I have a red jacket. I have two. Am I a part of the club?
  3. Dude, most Tutorial vids do it like that anyway. No shame in muting the real video clips, go for it!
  4. I main Ragna. I don't care how played a character is, if I love them, they are mine.
  5. Arch-type Earth in MBAA is banned. She'd balanced in CC though. Who cares, I got me some Ryougi Shiki <3
  6. Untech time.
  7. I Don't Even Know. Internet acronyms always bother me XD
  8. Luffy is so fucking tsundere for me, it's adorable.
  9. It's alright Luffy, I still love you.
  10. Was this an air CH? If so, I'm not too surprised, 5A air CH is hilarious, it's currently usually followed up by 5D for a combo. Anyway... Reasons why I believe Ragna will never be CS1 level again Warning: Incoming Scrub Opinion 6A doesn't have gatlings and had an overall hitbox nerf, making it actually kinda bad as far as anti-airs go, and pretty much a no-go as a pressure tool. 5D doesn't float on ground hit. All of his specials have repeat proration (as they should). 22C is only +3 or +4 now. BK doesn't gain 50 heat per combo anymore. Inferno Divider has half the active frames it did in CS1, and slightly nerfed invul frames. Think of him as still requiring the skill needed to play him well in CS2, he just gets rewarded better for it now in many cases. IMHO, CSX is making him better, not dumber.
  11. In most cases, if you already dashed in to do 5D(1), you don't need 5C or 2C. Just do 5D(2) > Divider.
  12. Being a bum? This version looks so much sweeter! I'll be sure to change it on the first post! As far as progress on the actual recording and such, I want to practice all of these combos to ensure the actual recording session doesn't take too much time, because the equiptment isn't mine, but rather belongs to another member of the scene. And school and work come first, so I'm sorry if it seems like this is taking forever.
  13. I'm sorry, but I cannot resist sigging this.
  14. Oh please. If you want to be hipster, go play Melty Blood
  15. What I'm confused about is, if she's so strong, why doesn't Japan use her more?
  16. Why am I so excited to fight against this?
  17. Let me explain. Ragna is a limited character. He has good neutral, average pressure, and average mix-up. He doesn't not have many tricks readily available to his arsenal. He does not have any single strength or area in which he excels. This forces you to outplay your opponent with the little tools he provides you in comparison to the rest of the cast. It forces you to mess with your opponent harder, surprise them more, while still having to maintain a very solid play style in order to stay alive (10k health is "fun", I'm sure you all know that). It provides a really fun challenge. There's a reason Ragna is one of the hardest characters to play at high level, and why many hold the opinion that he's in actuality a weak character. Everyone else has several options, several tricks to pull out (unblockable resets, safe cross-up shenanigans, many revolver action options, strong primer breaking strings, really strong oki for example) and most every character has an area of strength. In comparison to him, they have a huge arsenal. But to me, I don't like having more options than I know what to do with. I like having very little, and making the most of it. Simplicity. Give me the basics, let me work magic with it. That's just how I like things. Don't know if that made any sense, but that's just how I see things. I do love messing around with other characters though, but only for their combos~
  18. I will never switch my main. Everyone else is too boring/weird. I like my simplicity k thnx
  19. Blak is still ending his sentences in kupo. All is right in the world.
  20. It could have been 21, C0R, but I'm poor ;__; Next year?
  21. >implying people don't already have a pocket Ragna. He's not hard to learn, just hard to win with at high level play due to his simplicity. Jin suffers a bit of the same problem, but it's like, as Cadacus said, he has options for almost every situation, so it's not as bad. IMHO, I think Jin will be fine in CSE, he actually looks really fun to me.
