  1. I wouldn't be so serious about an alpha build of the game...
  2. Knock yourself out: http://mizuumi.net/2010/10/24/caster-an-unofficial-netplay-client/ http://mizuumi.net/2010/11/08/caster-how-its-done/ As a bonus, there's a modified caster that's able to do rollbacks ala GGPO: http://mizuumi.net/2010/11/27/caster-the-making-of-rollcaster/
  3. Games with guides in mizuumi generally have netplay. They fall under these general categories: 1. Caster (IaMP, MBAC, Blitz) 2. Lunaport (FM2K games like Vanguard Princess and Wonderful World) 3. nFBA (FBA games, pretty much what's on nFBA/GGPO will apply) 4. proprietary netplay aka use if it's the only thing available (SWR, Ougon, Blitz) Then there are the commercial proprietary netplay features in Blazblue and Arcana Heart 3. There is also newly implemented netplay tool in NullDC to play emulated Naomi games like GGAC and CvS2.
  4. A bunch of new Chaos Code videos under the radar: http://www.youtube.com/user/fkdigital
  5. Okizeme in Blazblue is pretty weak compared to most other fighting games. Litchi probably has one of the more traditional okizeme just because her supers are fucking huge. Generally it's good enough to stay on that ass on knockdown and react to what they want to do. Neutral/roll/quick tech is possible on just about every knockdown. Emergency tech is the closest thing you'll get to having 'guaranteed' knockdown. If you want to have reliable mixups you'll have to know what moves can be canceled to what you want. For example you want to find moves that can be jump canceled on block to look for a left/right crossup. Tao's drive can be used this way.
  6. In startup options, turn high res off, and restart game.
  7. Senna playable :D I like the 'heavier' airdash in this build. They go don't float so much after the airdash. Superjumps are in this build. Superjump forward, backward, neutral available. Senna doesn't seem to have pushback on her blocks. Senna simple infinite: in corner stuff 623C [(jB optional) jC(1 hit) j623C]x n....... Give me Burai yo. I want to punch some bitches!
  8. Yes they did, among other fun games over the years. Anyhow, here is some footage of the new character. Remember that blue-themed girl with a thin sword? She's previewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q85ktvZrNw
  9. No, because nobody knows what it's going to play like, let alone played Ougon2.
  10. NesicaxLIVE is available only on Taito TypeX2. MBAACC runs on Sega's new arcade system Ringwide. But with the updated graphics, it may just need to be run the more powerful hardware Ringedge. And by compete with Blazblue overseas, I think people mean a console port.
  11. IMO a FS3 is perfectly fine for learning how to use a joystick. It's an okay stick to start out with. It gets the job done for learning movement and motions on the stick and techniques for pressing the buttons. But then when you can touch a friend's full Sanwa stick, you'll start to cry and buy one for yourself :P Modding a FS3 is far from impossible, but expect a war!
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWaI87q2Fsg The first ever trailer is out!
  13. I didn't care really about Tsukihime. I just wanted on something to mash on PC. Got into ReACT FT and it progressively became better into what it is now. Most tournament players know a meme or two about Tsukihime, but I don't think even half of them read/finish the VN.
  14. Jourdal, you can still have jiyuna the WORLDCHAMP as favorite Ragna.
  15. http://www.justin.tv/ketsumi http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mrrayza Two US streams for ougon
  16. http://poverty.mizuumi.net/wiki/Eternal_Fighter_Zero For your wiki information needs.
  17. Wire the JLF-TM microswitches individually. That is, every microswitch must be wired to a signal and a ground. Like so: http://www.chromesphere.com/coleco/coleco_Graphs/Microswitch_Close_Up.png http://www.chromesphere.com/coleco/coleco_Graphs/Pushbutton_Wired.jpg For the TE which has only one ground wire, you can daisy chain all the ground ends of the four microswitches and connect it to the TE ground.
  18. #umineko on mizuumi Been up since the trailer came out. Broke down the game (trailers) before the game came out lol
  19. DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE SEEN. ALSO BOLD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QivfzKXrXXs#t=6m14s This is some broke tier shit lmao. But a cool combo nonetheless. Off 6A you get more than 50 meter back and 5k damage mmmmm. Also, Buppa
  20. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10687-BlazBlue-Continuum-Shift-II-Changes-NON-HELPFUL-POST-TEMPBAN&p=872647&viewfull=1#post872647 http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10687-BlazBlue-Continuum-Shift-II-Changes-NON-HELPFUL-POST-TEMPBAN&p=873090&viewfull=1#post873090 New major combo route is Renka(1) -> Kishuu -> 5C/2C/6C That's some massive damage.
  21. Get the HRAP V3-SA. PC compatibility is almost (if there are) unheard of.
  22. Awaiting the kawaii winposes and round end announcer.
  23. Translating might be quick, but it's a whole other kind of software. Mirrormoon took quite a while in replacing the text of MBAC.
  24. SoWL, mind if you can confirm something? Apparently, zts and dai were the ones playing on gameplay video 4....ON NETPLAY! http://twitter.com/zts_czl Notice the 1P select screen and then they go to 2P side in the match. Also take note the text at the bottom of the character select and blank screen.
  25. Eva almost had three, but really she tagged in with two; Virgilia tagged out with three. The partner comes in with the number of whole stock filled. So if you almost had three, you'll come in with two, and the 'almost filled up bar' will be carried to the switched out partner. Notice after the switch Eva is left with one, and Virgilia has three with a nearly filled fourth stock. Another Guard Touch moment is on :58 Ronove switching to Shannon.
