  1. What are the best ways to AA Eddie (if possible)? His j. HS? (maybe) always trades with my 6P. Is it just I need to do it earlier or should I used 5K/2K or something else? Also, how about Moroha A.B.A.? I know her pokes will kill me for the most part, but is there any way to AA her (consistently, not just guessing)? Against Jam (in case people might be interested): -DON'T 2P unless it's part of an offensive string. She will kill you otherwise. -Only throw items in a verified opening or else sometimes at full screen -Stand back when doing most oki games (about 2S --> 2HS range). She has way too many options on wake-up -j.HS can save you tons a trouble in the air. In addition, AA options usually work (6P,5k, 2K, etc.) as long as you did it early. -Most importantly, be prepared to wait around: Jam's pressure string can and will go for a long long time. Jam's a "where did my life go" character like Faust.
  2. Darkshine, this is how to do it on stick: Step 1: See if you can air brake (air dash with Faust and then FD) Step 2: jump up, airdash for a little while, and then FD Step 3: Jump up, roll your stick back 2->1 (well, DB at least), and then DRUM your FD buttons. For example, if you use P and K for FD, hit P then K in succession. LISTEN to the sound: if you can hear a gap between the buttons hit, then you're hitting them too slow. If you're just jumping up and FD'ing, you're doing it too fast. It'll take practice, but eventually you'll get it to work. Step 4: Add spices, rinse and repeat. you should "practice" using it with HS, since you're less likely to be punished than with K if you mess it up. I got a question: what can I do after a cancelled punch? After 2HS/5S -> P/2P/(item throw), are there many options? All I usually do is either 2HS ->P ->5s->236S --> air combo or 5S -> 2P/(item throw if too far away) -> (if I'm close) 2D -> 2S -> K -> air combo. I've also done stupid things like 2HS->P->5S->2P, etc. but I'm wondering if there are any other options.
  3. Oi oi, I'm adapting my game to play on Tim's shitty stick. So yeah, I sure did learn a whole lot of nothing since I'm not playing like I was in Japan against good people eh? Meh, I'm just trying to fool around with different pressure loops and strategies since my faust is getting stale.
  4. mm, Superjump is a decent tool against Sol, just watch out if your fight against someone who randomly dragon punches ALL THE FRIGGIN' TIME (-_-) Anyways, I have a few questions about two characters I hate to play: Testament and Ky. Ky is understandably annoying, but at what range should I try to stay? I can't do much at long-range besides throw items, and at short range I get rushed down. Also, it's not easy to approach from the air (even though I air brake/j2k cancel), so exactly what do I do? And my main problem: what do I do against testament? EXE beast is easy enough to block from the other side, but that --> Testament rushdown. Rushing at him without a dragon punch seems stupid as well. I do well enough against a good local Testament to get him down to about 5-25% most of the time, but it's hard to finish him (without relying on scalpel enema). Lastly, what's a good pressure loop in the corner? the one I've been using is 2s, 2hs into mixup (command throw, 41236K or else 2p 2s 2d into pogo...and I know I shouldn't use that). Very simple, but I know I can tack on more damage, but other than air brake cancel --> jk --> ... nothing works (and I don't like to do that since I play against Sol and Ky a lot)
