Haha, I just got rubbed the wrong way from the 'best player in the world' comment. Cause we both know that everyone can get better, and I thought you being kind of a rude brand of sarcasm. I thought you were trying to be rude to a friend of mine,so I got a little mad. Sorry, didn't mean to go off or anything~ I just read people wrong all the time or something. .

Why are you getting so defensive? That's my main concern here. You're playing this off as if you don't care, but then leave sassy responses. Paul was just responding to a statement from Nick that could easily be found obnoxious. Saying that they had an 'off week' based off of how they placed. Rankings don't mean a lot unless you have the context of the players in mind. People at the St1ckbug biweeklies are, very, very good. They have the drive to become the best players they can be. This drive is absent from battle grounds. It's mainly about having fun with your friends, maybe practicing new combos. That's cool. You're getting frustrated though, that these players who do truly want to improve their game are looking elsewhere. Paul never claimed to be the best player in the world. But I'm sure he'd like to be, and he's willing to put in the effort. And you're just being obnoxious to him and putting words in his mouth. And I don't think either of us appreciate your tone.

There is so many things wrong with this regardless of what context of I try and interpret it.

Singles would be nice. I like to be able to feel out a match and really get to play someone. 1 round just doesn't feel like enough time. On a more biased note, singles sound nice because being dead weight kinda feels like shit. I'm just really embarrassed about the whole Melty debacle. I just wanted to play and learn the game. I'm glad I got to play with such great players and I think I did learn a lot, but I limited my team mate and that feels the worst to me (and the teasing). The whole reason I didn't bring baked goods, is because I wasn't planing on going last minute because of blah blah I'm bad and blah blah no one wants to team with me. For now I'll just man up, practice, get better than everyone can get at me or whatever 5c. Shoutouts later :3

guilting/bullying in to getting people to come down is not really tactic that works well. Comm 101. No 'fense, but a lot of the time I just don't want to. After a long week I like to stay at home on Fridays. just talk to friends, browse the internet or see a movie with my room mate. I have other things I like to do. It's fun to come once in awhile, but not all of us are up to going every week.

So I just stocked up on all sorts of baller candy, ready for those cm's. Come at me, bro. Also if anyone wants to partner in Guilty or Melty, I'd be down. But I'm pretty Day 1 mad bad. That is not an exaggeration.

Before we go on long speeches about this, we also need to address that the key words in the article are 'probably' and 'want' and it was all just a word of mouth record. I.e; not a terribly reliable source. There's a good chance that that a new Guilty Gear just won't happen, and if it does it doesn't necessarily mean what the article stated for sure will happen. Despite that, we as a community should also not stay silent either. So, let's keep talking about about why this is a bad idea and why we would not support Super Guilty Gear IV.
