ok i gotcha. so basically in this version, because curse lasts a bit longer, you mostly wanna go for resets. i got no problem with my resets and unblockables. but yeah, i'd like to know ways to end combos for once curse meter has run out.

Hey guys, sorry if this is already in the thread somewhere. Too lazy to search. Since cp.1 has come out i haven't really put a whole lot of time into figuring out arakune's new stuff. but now im trying. im having trouble though with ending his combo's properly now. before the update, i could do: in the corner, full curse combo, dbug1, 5d, dbug2, 22c, 6a, 5c, 6d. (or if 50meter - super instead of 6d.) but now that doesnt work past 2 reps of curse. i was wondering if there's a new snazzy way to end curse combos? Would appreciate the help. Thanks.

can anyone tell me the best way to roll-punish with arakune? corner and/or midscreen?

Help please. Im an arakune player, and i know not what to do in this matchup. Any tips you mu players would be willing to give? this matchup seems like hell for arakune.

ah. definitely good to end with 41236a. i love the combos that end with 5d, 41236a in the corner. so godlike. And yeah i realize the timing is strict for double j.6d. im wondering if someone can explain the timing for me?

Not sure if this has been discovered yet, but i found a way to get full curse off a throw in the corner. Throw, 5d, 236b, 2c, crush trigger, 6b, j.d, 6d. its costs 25 meter, but you also get decent damage off it (3.2k), so may be worth it. also, you can do it if YOU are the one in the corner, starting with back throw. also, pretty sure i did a meterless version somehow, but cant remember how to do it. i think its: throw, 6b, j.d, j. a, b, c, 2b, divecancel, 5d, 2c, 6d. not sure. you might have to do 236b in between 5d and 2c. Not in front of my console right now, so i cant check. sorry. also, on an unrelated note, im currently having trouble doing: 5a, 6b, j.44a+b, j.6d, j.6d. is there a trick that i'm not getting for this? i can only connect it on accident like half the time.

Im currently trying to do this corner combo: airgrab, j.d, 6d, 2c, 5d. Is there some sort of trick to combo 6d into 2c in the corner? Every time i try it, they hit the ground and tech before 2c hits them.

Once growler absorbs a projectile, he's completely safe. He can't be punished no matter what. and yeah 236a isnt a problem for me.

Does anybody know what to do against his bulls**t "Growler" move when he's cursed in the corner? All i can do is sit there and throw bugs at him, and he just absorbs everything. This matchup seems very uphill. Its straight up pokemon in this matchup! He's got growl and he uses rock against a flying/bug type. "Its super effective!"

ha. you said it. always had a hard time fighting the murokumo units. reading this thread is making me depressed! arakune doesn't seem to have much anymore! i loved his j.b > j.cancel > airdash > j.b pressure... And now i cant do it anymore! D: sob!
