  1. The thing about it is that I am blocking it but the game thinks I'm still blocking the wrong direction on netplay and I get to see my character casually walk into assault through like an idiot. Sometimes I would know exactly when they would assault through because they're being that predictable with it and start holding the correct direction when they're crossing me over preemptively and even that doesn't work sometimes. It was funny when I was doing offline casuals in ECT and I blocked every assault through outside of combos and was going "yayyyy...."
  2. They're easy to expose though. What's the problem? Actually the only thing that annoys me about netplaying noels is getting hit by assault through when I'm blocking it. It's just like blocking overheads and getting hit by them but getting hit by a naked assault through in the corner is stupid amounts of damage.
  3. Most characters feel pretty secure after they have you block a + move and will look to continue the pressure. The obvious answer would be IB but that's kind of annoying to do on reaction unless it's something super obvious like Litchi's... 6D or whatever that is but i think throwing out a DP or GB will make them think twice about continuing their pressure for free. I find most of mind games comes from letting your opponent know you have an answer for their shenanigans and then from there it's up to you to condition and out guess your opponent to victory. It's very frequent that I will DP more often in the first game or two of a series to make my opponent respect that option and even better if you can make them assume that you DP predictably/mash it out too much then you have them more or less where you want them. As for Litchi vs Tager match up(what I can remember from playing vs Taicho and some others), there isn't much you can do since Litchi can dictate the pace of the match until you can get her magnetized since her neutral game with staff is stupid good so I just like playing patient and trying my best to block, break throws and IB(not so easy on LOL Netplay) what I can until they go for the trickier, less safe mix ups and then it's time to press buttons.

  11. Lazy casuals for a little bit, who wants to press buttons? Edit- GGs to randoms. You were all terrible but at least you came in. Shoutouts to some arakune player that join in with a mic and started yelling "bring it bro, bring it" and then got disconnected or rq'ed after getting hit by my ragna once. Pretty hilarious.

  14. The use of 5BB > 3CC reset works the same way that 5BB > 6BB does it punishes people that like holding back or up back on during hitstun. You can also use max range 5B > 3CC as a way to punish people holding up back in the corner anticipating your max range 5B > 22D unblockable.

  23. I see, so since 236D is - on block now, you just RC it really fast so you have switched sides on block and smack em before they realize. Not bad, the options off of it feel limited to immediate hits to be effective but I'll explore it to see if I can pull some more shenanigans from it.
