She doesn't really have bad items, no, but Cat is still probably her least useful one in most cases. It's just a fast, long ranged poke that you can't really get anything off of unless it's a counter hit from my understanding. Still..

Except that doesn't make sense because the first hit of Bullet Cutter is a mid and if you're crouch guarding you'd get hit by it immediately. If you blocked the first hit correctly you'd already be standing.

I'll never understand why people insist on denying Sentinel is really good if not one of the better characters in the roster as it stands now. I'm not saying he's the absolute best or god tier (never said or thought he was), but he's definitely a force to be reckoned with. Even with 905,000 health.

He's still one of the absolute best characters in the game (even now) and nothing you said stopped him from being on nearly every tournament team since release.

Sentinel has less health than Viewtiful Joe now. Hilarious.

I got my first chance to play this game this weekend. It's fun and all, but it's broken to an absolutely hilarious extent. Characters like Deadpool are able to win with practically brain-dead tactics. Definitely not the type of fighter to take seriously. If you're one to use characters you really like and not just characters you think are insanely good chances are you're going to have to put in some serious work to be successful. Then again, you may get lucky and be able to form a solid team with your favorites. It really depends on what characters you're talking about. I love Amaterasu tho'. She's crazy fun and I love her versatility. Viewtiful Joe is fun but he just gets wrecked by keepaway and characters really good range. Chris Redfield is fun but his lack of mobility just kills him. When you get momentum behind him (or X-Factor) he can be pretty solid tho'. I was repping Joe, Ammy, Chris most of the time I was playing.

I still have no idea what qualifies a game as an anime fighter or what an anime fighter really is. Anywho, I'm pretty eager to play this game. Especially since people have been getting access to it rather. What means they're getting it through I have no idea and don't entirely care. My primary team is gonna be Viewtiful Joe, Amaterasu and Chris Redfield bringing up the rear.

I'm already liking what I see here. Definitely interested and want to see more. Specifically gameplay, of course. Hyde is the character I like the most just going purely off of aesthetics, but Linne looks awesome too. None of the characters look bad really.

I use 5C BC as a mindgame to see how people react to it occasionally. If I notice them try and throw out normals afterward I might follow it up with 5D (or maybe even 5C) for a counter hit into Haida.

I really, really want to play this game. It looks fantastic and a lot of fun. I was planning on using the Ange/Lucifer from the start but now that I've seen what they're capable of already I want to use them even more. Hopefully I can meet up with a friend who has it and play.

The Soul series is what made me become an avid fighting game fan in the first place, so I'm definitely excited about this.

Ah, I see. Thank you for clarifying. I'm hoping that the other 'Heartful' colors look nice. Particularly Akane's and Nazuna's since those are the two characters I plan on using.

Were the Mei-Fang color palettes shown off around the 2:30 mark of that video ('Heartful 1' and 'Heartful 2') custom made ones? If so, that'd be fantastic. I've never been one to import games, but given the fact that the PlayStation 3 is region free and I really enjoyed what I played of Suggoi! Arcana Heart 2 is enough reason for me to seriously consider getting it.

Been lookin' into this game recently and I must say it's shaping up very nicely based on the footage I've seen. Cerberus Black is easily my favorite out of all the characters. Given the opportunity to play, I'd pick him up immediately. Cait and Sith seem pretty fun too.

..What? The only vague connection that a dog has with the word 'pero' (or at least the phonetic sound 'pero') is the Spanish word for dog which is spelled perro with two Rs and not with one. Pero Pero is a reference to Peropero Candies or candies you can lick. Lollipops are an example of Peropero Candies. In this particular case, the 'lolli' in lollipop is a pun on the word loli, which is slang for lolita or lolicon. 'Platinum is a loli hahaha', 'Peropero', etc. etc. Laughs all around. Now excuse me while I leave this topic out of embarrassment for explaining that entire thing in detail.

Props to Shadow for using the best color palette for Platinum and doing quite well with her. But seriously, that is the color palette I was planning on using and it looks just as glorious as I imagined.

To be fair, any Platinum player worth their salt is going to be using Dream Sally a lot because it's a really good special attack for oki. Not necessarily on par with a character like Litchi, but it's good enough that you shouldn't ignore it really ever. But yeah, she's really versatile which makes her incredibly interesting. My personal favorite of her drive moves is the Cat staff simply due to it's speed, range, and hilarity. One thing Cirno and I noticed when watching and discussing the Platinum matches available to us that no one seems to be using Dramatic Sammy (her command grab) or Miracle Jeanne (install super) for that matter. With her mix-up game seemingly decent already, I wonder why there aren't any command grabs being thrown in every now and then. As a potential Platinum user, I certainly would. It's not like it's Noel's Muzzle Flitter.

Changes overall sound good. I reckon I'll wait until I get my hands on her before I make my final judgment tho'. Can't take everything people say for granted.

You see, I often resort to starting on offense and trying to gain the upper hand as soon as possible 'cause I recognize my weaknesses as a player and I reckon I'm more likely to succeed playing very offensively and pressuring the opponent as opposed to defensively. Not to say that I'm entirely ignoring that aspect, of course. It's just that I'm still working on it and my offensive game is a lot more concrete.
