Not sliding from 9 to 3 but you mean hitting 9, going back to 5 and then 3B? If so, I'll have to try that.

Totally misread that. My bad. Also how do you go about the FC 2C combos. Do you just throw out 2C and hope it's a fatal counter, or can you get a fatal counter off of something else and then work your way into the 2C combos. I know it sounds dumb but I'm not sure. Also, whats the frame data on 2C?

Well actually I land the combo I was doing consistently midscreen by not letting 5B hit all 3 times. That's the point of it hitting 2 times was it always works in that case. I understand what you're saying, but I really don't think going back to a neutral game is advantageous (no pun intended) against a lot of characters. Obviously there are characters I wouldn't want to end with 236A on, and it's something to gauge inside each match against different players, because some people will look for that sort of thing and punish you for it with Furious Action and possibly a combo afterwards. I'm just looking for different combos that aren't listed and seeing what kind of positions I can get my opponent into and what kind of mixup/mind games I can work with. As for dashing into combos, it's not that hard if you land j.A or j.B off of glides. Obviously you won't do it every time, but it's just one more tool in the arsenal. Also I don't understand why you would hitconfirm a 2A into sweep and lose any and all damage potential right there. Depending on range and momentum you could just do 2A 5A 5C 2C 236B.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=NttNMpKvMxI#t=175s This is posted in the video thread and you can see lots of the gliding used for amazing things. This character is going to be soooo fun once I get the hang of this. Also somebody mentioned you can do it at later times during the dash, however if you do you fall a lot slower than if you do it at the start of the dash. It's really easy to do normally, just practicing iAD into it which is hard because I'm not even very good at iAD's. My wrist is already yelling at me (this would be so much easier on pad T_T.)

I like 5AA 2A 5A 5B (2hits) 5C 2C 236A. It does 1545 (don't have the meter gain) and it allows me to go into a mixup. Pretty sure if you just land off the 236A you're unsafe though... so you'll probably end up faking j.2D into j.214A or something. If you catch them doing anything with a j.236A~A after the j.2D though you get a free couple of hits and a super if you really want to (or OMB for that matter.) I know that j.236C won't connect after the 236A in this combo, but I haven't really tried anything else. In the corner however you can do 5AA 2A 5AA 5C 2C 2AB 236A 236C. I really don't understand hitstun in this game lol.

Very nice. I'm really trying to learn Yosuke because I just love his play style and appearance really. The other people I'm playing at the moment are Kanji and Chie. Both of them are really awesome.

Ahh I see. The 2A 5C must also be a sukukaja only as well, I've been trying to link it for like 10 minutes now lol. Thought it might just have the Kanji 5b 2b timing but no, it's just not connecting. What is a pretty simple bnb I can use for starting on the ground then, as most of the combos listed require either hitting with his persona, or are counter hit (or fc).

the 5ax4 combo doesn't make any sense.... once the kunai touch them they are able to tech about a second later. Did you mean 5ax3 and then delay the 4th one?
-
Awesome after about 15 minutes in training mode I got it to work finally. Now I just don't know what to do after the 2D lol.

Oh, I'll have to try that then. Actually about to head to bed (6am here) but I will give that a try and see if that helps with my execution. Thanks!

I've taken a look at the combo thread, and the starter thread listed there, so I'm familiar with the terminology (well not the supers, not sure which one is which.) Also took me a while to figure out what ippatsu was as its not listed in her starter thread. Anyway, I wouldn't normally post a thread like this but I'm kinda stuck right now trying to use her. I can do some basic combos (I learned them in practice mode) like Throw, 4(or 6)Kote 6C 5C j.B (small delay) j.C dash 5C j.B... you get the point. Basically I know a few ways to get into the 5C j.B C loop (like 5C[m](2) 3C Itsuu C.) Where I ran into a problem is when I fought my friend, who ONLY plays Lambda. Not sure if it's just me, but the 5C doesn't pick up Lambda, Noel, Makoto, and probably other people I'm unaware of. So naturally I thought "Oh ok, I just need to learn a different combo..." Not that big a deal as I probably shouldn't use the combos they teach me in game anyway lol. Well, here's brick wall number two. I really new to Litchi, and have been sitting in practice mode for quite a bit now but to no avail. I can't do the standard BnB 5B[m] 2C[m] ItsuuA 6Kote Haku Hatsuu riichiA IppatsuA IppatsuB 2D starter, let alone get an end out of it. My execution isn't terrible or anything, I mean I can do like 16 hit (estimate not exact number) belial combos into Astral with my Ragna who I mained in CT and just brought over with some minor changes. To give you an idea of how far I've come with that basic BnB, I can do up to the riichiA but for some reason can't get the ippatsuA to connect... unless I'm just completely misunderstanding what ippatsuA is? My guess was just hitting A then B while standing on the staff. Anyway, if somebody could please link a better combo for me to learn (better as far as easier to do anyway) that will work on the characters that my only combo I know right now isn't hitting, that would be awesome. If anybody could also give me some tips on how to pick up my ippatsu combos rather than dropping them after riichi (which btw seems like I would really get fucked if I drop them right there) that would also be really awesome. Anyway this is my first post on dustloop even though I've been coming here for stuff forever lol. ^__^
