that combo is so free on eddie! he has a most wonderful hitbox. ps. in corner s dive combos are your best friend. no need to waste tension 6P > 5H > jS > jH > Sdive> 5S > jS > jH > Sdive (Pdive > ect.) > 5P > 5S > VCL. after KD, oki rape...
-
mid-tier my friend.....low mid-tier. Every I-no plays differently. ive seen jap i-nos blow great opportunities with failed HCL frc attempts and american i-nos waste tension that could be used for oki fuzzy guard rape cause they used tension in a situation they should have dive combo'd. It all depends on spacing and what character your facing. You guys should know how char specific she is.
-
ooooh damn sorry bro...is there any chance to aquire your forgiveness?
-
nah im so much better now lolz. im playing like every day.
-
you have to know to make that decision on the fly. what is more important in that situation? say you score a 2k, 2s, 2H on a crouching opponent. Do you go with 2D for the knockdown and oki with slow note? or do you combo to stbt and tech trap throw them into corner. know your situation and opponent. if you get a clean non prorated hit and can kill with 2 combos, dont freaking sacrifice dmg for a knockdown. especially if you score a counterhit and if you tech trap at the end of the combo and air throw them, that = dizzy. Those vids you saw....that was a while ago. comparing me from evo then to now is night and day. everything i do is now is mostly knockdown into oki/throw/fuzzy mixup now with a couple of tech traps for corner setups. if you saw me play now compared to then when i was considered scary good, you wouldnt even know that we are the same player.

oh i c. it would just depend on the situation i guess. I always have meter and if i use a super, its because i know im getting maximum damage output. like at evo east vs marlin pie those were perfect uses for those supers i did.
-
huh? lolz idk. which match is it? I do it for a reason but i gotta see the vid to analyze what i was thinking lol.
-
the chad your talking about and the video in question are Japanese.... maybe there is an american chad somewhere, but yeah that guy in the vid sux lol.
-
no, the baiken player rite? he was at a regional awhile back but i ususally play MarlinPie, Xaqshinor, Rudy, and Jamie Sapphire.
-
lol flash metroids name is Peter.....:8/: honestly i have never heard of a top player named chad...
-
not Chad bro, its chaz...who = me. mynus.... yeah i think im the best in the country. based on tourney results and shear beastliness. 1st at evo east 2k7 3rd at evo world finals 2k6 4th at NEC 2007 top 3 in almost every regional in ny/nj/ct area. --you guys who want to learn seriously need to not be passive about pm'ing the experienced inos or even iming us. id love to help.

there is no reason dude to be so negative....i played DW at evo last year i believe he was on Jamie's team, yeah my team won but i know he knows what he is talking about. Now for the straight up truth, everything theory that DW has said is truth. Axl vs Ino is not good for her. it is a 6-4 matchup at best. I have alot of exp and there is no axl i feel in the US that can beat me based on exp, and those ive seen like sirsmoov that are excellent i feel i have an advantage against. i play with the tops in the country daily but just cause i think i can win this everytime doesnt mean axl doesnt pwn I-no...cause he does. So cut DW some slack cause hes just trying to help you out by telling you what NOT to do, so you dont die a fast horrible and embarrasing death. -mynus

So...like...does anyone have these? plz....
-
this matchup is terrible and ive raped every axl ive ever played in tourney. including those who i was impressed by. The matchup is bad, but player strength and knowledge of said matchup and char has wayyy more to do with winning than anything.
-
haha I-no vs Axl.....this is one of the easiest matches to fight. not her best but easiest. Big difference... but one wrong move and youll wonder why she just lost 80%. tk notes are a no no except in a wakeup situation for axl and stbt without a note on axl or some good lv 4 blockstun will get her killed. How Ino easily wins this is by patience. Axl will poke cause that is what axl does, either trying to bait a note or stuff her jump attempts. backdashing out of 5p range with HS note will annull this, also duck or use 2k to go under his 5p and hcl for the knockdown that will end the match literally. once she gets in no axl wakeups will beat her clean. besides on a kd, he should be blocking a lv 3 note anyway. patience patience patience...and for the love of god dont try to aa his bomber! o_O

Ino - Sol is realistically a 5/5 matchup. the deciding factor is momentum. Ino doesnt have many defensive options to stop sols rush safely without getting baited for VV or GV. However if sol blocks a note then he has no choice but to block 50/50 mixups from her. use that to the advantage and he should be no problem. frc the ground note to make sol jump in and ino's 6p and 5p will own his air approach. also its rediculously easy to bait VV with dash in JH and back dash out of hover.
-
it helps if you do the motion as 63214-K-7896K. just train yourself to do the motion alittle faster.
-
ino's stbt goes under alot of moves and pretty much is one of the best specials in the game. no need to frc it to go under a charged stun edge tho. and i dont see or use that many vcl frc crossup mixups except for the hover airdash fast fall vcl. there are many options after that and although its not a lv.5 move like in slash anymore, if you time it right you can still fuzzy guard/ add mixup without the frc. however with the frc its so fast that it makes it extremely hard to see what she is going to do. so yeah practice that one alot! (try after hover airdash; vcl frc land 2S 5H iad K, S, H land ect./ vcl frc a.D [b4 landing]/ and fuzzy guard with jk slash dive after a vcl, no frc needed. dont get predictable after 6frc6 HCL or u will get punished. its best used in the middle of strings so ur opponent doesnt expect it. JI a move and use the HCL after a low for best chance of catching them crouching when you dash in.
-
6P as a combo starter is practical especially if your baiting a random poke after a block string. it catches ppl all the time who like to 2P/5P after blocking a string in anticipation of you dashing back in. condition the opponent and catch their attack for a CH 6P and rediculous dmg that follows.
-
haha i never left. all i come on dustloop is for vids and i leave. lol but ill be around alot more to contribute cause there seems to be alot of newbs thirsting for i-no knowledge. Any questions just ask. And yeah i was fucking raping at NEC, till i played flash lol.
-
a good I-no player actually wants eddie to reflect her projectiles. 1) she can control the trajectory it gets reflected in onto the ground and dash right over it basically giving her a free dash in and 2) the frc point on it makes his reflect useless if she cancels it. If you anticipate this try to bait a note from long distance and use 6P to catch her long dash after the note. this wont work unless she doesnt frc it or your not full screen away.
-
Its not nessisarily the game lagging as much as in of a JI CL you only have a 6 frame window to input the frc->airdash.
-
yep pretty much. its prob the easiest way to get a ji. best way to try it out is to use a crouching move since none are jump cancellable and you wont get a tk chem love out by accident.
-
Hover dash is her normal 6,6 dash from the ground If you whiff a move b4 you land or just land from her hover dash and continue into a ground move w/o going into a neutral state, you will retain her air dash property as if you were still in the air. you cant do this however if you air dashed already before landing.
