Except Gamefreak has done a ton of stuff, especially with gen 6, to balance and change the meta. These are intentional changes and buffs/nerfs. Pokemon is for fans first. Always. The tons of Pokemon, moves, abilities, etc. That's for them. That's what SELLS. But there are things made SPECIFICALLY for those who enjoy more deeper and competitive play. Now, because of the sheer mass of Pokemon, moves, abilities and stats, there's no way to perfectly balance it all, but do small, fine tweaks that impact and change the meta. Leave the tiering to the players, and listen to feedback Now personally? Pokemon competitively is boring to watch or play, but to say it's not deep, and intentionally so, is offbase. Anyway: Where's Hawlucha

https://twitter.com/TechKami/status/622265295806332929 We got a 4D. No word on what it is yet

Might be like vanilla and certain ranges with it are safe but even then, that's minimal

I'll start by saying these changes are unconfirmed, like test tweet translations I've found. With that said https://twitter.com/ImtheSeo/status/622244130836586497 5D range buffed and 6C better on block https://twitter.com/TechKami/status/622236610902532101 Combos do same damage, but shorter I'll be scouring Twitter for a while and I'll post more as I find an

We can combo into stomps on CH and if we got meter we rapid to continue the combo cancel properties on 6C wont change much

Yo I'm just double checking before I cave and buy JP Xrd but the patch is full translation right Both text and voices? -
The nerfs balance out the buffs we got. We lost our ability to counter off of our best overhead, but we're not the first character in this game to lose that ability. 6D being almost entirely an ender now outside of the corner sucks, but we have so many other ways to star combos and do damage (J.D loop is hype). Not to mention our damage is overall better too. The few big nerfs we got got balanced out by really big buffs.
-
We lost our best tool for high/low mixup yeah, but with whiff 236D mixup and 214D being faster (I'm about 80% on this. I saw a Terumi do 5B into it and it purpled, not sure if it was fast enough to do this in 1,1 or vanilla) so we still have some tools. Not to mention they have to respect our air options still with j.D being much better and air messenga being good now. Once we're in we're good.

Here's a low quality training mode recording of it But after some initial hesitation, I'm really loving CP2 Terumi. We loss some tools but we have some more rounded mixup options and (Whiff 236D into grab, 214D is faster) and we got more damage. Also Air Messenga is literally a dive kick now. I honestly feel like this is the best Terumi yet, although in the end this won't help him with some of his worse MUs.

It's not so much the card count as what is and isn't there in the screens. The Famitsu magazine scans (the one with 5 cards) have her with invigorate, while in the from the famitsu site (ones with 9 cards) she doesn't have Invigorate in any of them. One can assume the 5 card one is closer to the finished product than the 9 cards.
-
Actually no, I didn't. That's because I've never cared much for the navigators *shrug* But as for Margaret's 9 cards. Pretty sure that's debug mode just for these screens or something. Notice she doesn't have SP Boost like she did in the magazine scans, where she had 5 cards.

The only character who seems to be feeling like they play completely differently so far is Hazama, and that's of of a few reports. Koko, Litchi and Azreal got nerfs, you even said they needed nerfs yourself. They were the top 3. The nerfs they got for the most part are really good. It's not going to completely neuter them, but it is going to force them to play a lot smarter. Which is what you should EXPECT when characters change. Some of the middle of the pack/low tier characters got some ridiculous nerfs/buffs but it's the first loke test. That's how these things play out. It's trying things and seeing how they go for the next loke test, but then again some characters who needed to get stronger ARE getting stronger (Bullet, Tsubaki) GCOD seems completely fucking stupid, as I'm sure many of us will agree. Who knows if it'll stick and how it'll change, but there's a lot of things to consider about this. and it hasn't been seen in real high level play yet, but likely at worst, when your opponent has meter and a burst, it's going to force you play smarter and respect your opponent. Slowing down the game enough to encourage smarter neutral and footsies isn't a bad thing, nor does it completely remove offense in favor of defense.

I'm pretty sure he means for everyone, not just yourself. If you fight someone online who has an announcer you'd hear them still. As far as I know you couldn't turn that off.
