tbh my only qualm with it is chun has 74 p2 which pretty much kills your combo. . . but i think having the stick at the end of a combo is really valuable
-
you cant tk itsuu there is no special cancel into itsuu period as you can see in urichinan's video and match vids, staff2 > itsuuA is possible.
-
coincidentally i saw a similar combo posted today. . . however, there is an amazing combo part that i havent thought of in your combo! 2d > tk chun is wonderful ill experiment tonight with it, but i already have some ideas

jB > dj jBCD is more stable

Near corner combo routes: Starters: 1 - Most stuff (including forward throw) > 2C > 6D 2 - 4D or most stuff staffless or Itsuu > 6kote or Back throw > itsuuA > 6kote > haku~ 4 - Staff1 CH > stuff > haku > chun Middle - Staff is near the corner 1 - Hatsu > RiichiA > Ippatsu > Tanki Hatsu 2 - Hatsu > RiichiA > Ippatsu > back jump kote, late jB 3 - Hatsu > RiichiA > Ippatsu > drop > air backdash > jHatsu > Haku > Chun Enders 1 - Hatsu > Haku > Chun > 5B > 6C(1) > 4Kote > jB > dj > jBCD > falling jC > staff2 > 6C 2 - (5B) > jB > delay jC > delay jB > 6C(1) > 4Kote > jB > dj > jBCD > falling jC > staff2 > 6C 3 - 5B > 6C(1) > 4Kote > jB > dj > jBCD > falling jC > staff2 > 6C 4 - 6C(1) > 4Kote > jB > dj > jBCD > falling jC > staff2 > 6C This stuff is for when the staff is near the corner. Anytime you hit with 6D, you should probably go into Middle 1. Ender 3 is great for when you're unsure about how much you can do. Ender 4 is the easiest ender (obviously). Chun connects to 6C(1) in the corner (according to the wiki, I haven't tried it.) Of course, there are other things (such as j2B combos) but you usually need starter 1 (and normally just 5B or something), and it's still a little tight. . . the fancy stuff should be saved for special starters. I'll be pasting this in the CS2 combo thread as well. Source for this is jp atwiki. Examples: (2A) 5B > 2C > 6D(2) > Middle 1 > Ender 1 Forward throw > dash 2C > 6D > Middle 1 > Ender 2 Staff is far away: 2A > 5B > 5C > haku > chun > Ender 3

im gonna tell them to go to body shop -
6c(1) > dash 2c. you hit with the back of 2c 663[C] is how i do it. youre probably just doing it too slow alternatively if they are standing you should do dash 6c(1) 6kote, much easier imo

theres a philly thread already, you should check it out

bcb loop is so boring to do 6D(1) is pretty much guaranteed corner carry, but its gotta be air hit. its really good to confirm into, i like that bcb stuff made litchi's combos mostly boring. . . the cs1 stuff was really fun. ct was cool cause we were always finding new things while trying to understand what the character was good at. bcb is just zzz. damage is good at least.
-
getting hit by daisharin in cs2 is 4k - 5k + daisharin again unless baiting certain things (like rachel wind neutral tech) honestly the damage was real high but i just wanted her to still have her ability to send to the corner easily, because i feel like that was really important to her as a character i really dont like bcb stuff
-
after d~c airdash airthrow airdash jAA>airthrow (purple airdash back airdash forward airthrow jC dj jB j2D~B 6c = 6k but its not like people are just going to run into it. the return is hella good for the risk though, i agree you shouldnt worry too much about doing pressure forever as much as hitting them imo

i do remember you complaining about turtling against carl

the only thing that annoys me is that her staff pokes are so mediocre now basically, i feel like cs1 litchi had overall mid risk/high reward for most of her staff pokes - this for the most part was too good, and a skilled player could make almost any random staff hit a high damaging, corner carry combo into okizeme cs2 litchi's staff pokes are mostly mid risk/low reward - in the case of some normals like 3c[m], the reward is simply emergency techable knockdown. thankfully they had the mind to make it comboable on CH, but still. in the end what i do like is that they made her pokes more useful in neutral, especially itsuu. its a little bit easier to approach to the range where she's strongest. of course, daisharin is still bullshit, lol

ok ive regained my soberness anyways akira shiro, taos pressure is not only safe, its good at keeping the opponent guessing. shes good at abusing throw reject miss and she can put small gaps using part charged 5c or 2c to punish people for trying to mash/jump. as ronove mentioned, her A/C cancel is more or less safe unless they IB DP or try something risky like IB 5a. A cancel is more or less safe, she can choose to move in or run away. on top of that, her neutral game is ridiculously good, you could just turtle and punish whiffs all day for most matches.
-
lol really
-
i was weirded out cause whistler was doing raw sandoori and i was sooooo impressed, so i practiced 2147D without using a jump cancellable move beforehand. . . now that i know it JUST WORKS, im not as impressed but its still really good

LK's GAMEPLAY RELATED QUESTIONS ONLY question thread

I think Litchi is still a strong character. She does really high damage off Daisharin now, more than CS1 sometimes. And they started to use some really strong, practically unseeable mixups. Her pressure is overall stronger (both thanks to buffs and system changes). However, I still feel like loss of itsuucan really hurt her and made some matches much more difficult. Litchi had great comeback power in CS1 if you were good at hitconfirming (taking them to the corner). I think Makoto is probably one of her hardest matchups right now, because Makoto is more or less the same as CS1, while Litchi can't do what she could before to win (1 hit > corner). Most of her matches are even. You should learn Litchi like any other character - learn common go to moves, basic bnbs, basic mixups, etc, while gradually familiarizing yourself with the character. Matchup advice based on matches against a CPU pretty much is meaningless, because there is no 2nd person interacting with you. You have to really force yourself. It might be hard, but casuals =/= tournament. Casuals are practice time, so make sure you use it to try out new things, including new combos. KoumaF's oki game is good, but what really sets him apart is his neutral. He has one of the best anti-air normals in the game - 2B, as well as still maintaining some of the pros of the other Kouma's (mainly mixup). More than anything, you should learn how to use 2B properly. Outside of that, he's just a fast grappler. KoumaC has a better pressure game but too much rebeating will sacrifice damage. Learn all the characters and what they can do. I still feel like you just try to escape gaps rather than trying to understand the characters. Right now I feel like you should just learn what the rest of the cast can do as far as pressure and find answers with Hazama. Just doing "stuff" after IB is very risky. . . you can be creating gaps that weren't there before, thus leaving yourself open for things that you shouldn't even be getting hit by. -
taunt doest have positive proration anymore 6c is wallbound not wallbounce, so no fatal 2c > 6c unless near the corner EDIT: tao 214d auto turns around now? you dont have to do 2147d anymore? gdlk
-
I don't do a specific one. Just watch where your opponent is and move the staff in a way that keeps you safe or applies pressure, as needed.
-
Lucky doesn't play Litchi anymore afaik, he uses Tsubaki
