  1. I always play subs. I'm going to keep playing Taokaka, Jin and Hazama. . . probably going to pick up Rachel again. I'm probably going to pick up Platinum too probably. I'll keep playing Litchi - she's still strong enough for me to play her and she still has cool, fun looking stuff. I don't really like the jBCB combo part, that's a little boring. I'm also glad that they changed her enough that people can (finally) move on from CT style and move on with the character (or switch - I don't care). . . .I like women.
  2. Zidane did his time, don't worry lol. Both in wasting his time coming up with stupid optimized Hazama combos and being banned, haha. This is good. But I think a lot of people's goals are to win. Honsetly CS1 is pretty good balance considering there's only 4 weak characters (relative to the cast).
  3. You did some good stuff. You cut shishin, you did Yukikaze against Daisharin (though admittedly he didn't do a good one). . . did you Yukikaze because he doesn't bait it with Daisharin? I was surprised you didn't just counter the other Daisharin too. You gave him way too much respect in the air, he was hopping around doing airthrow a lot. Litchi needs to be 1-1/2 character lengths away to be a threat to Hakumen air-to-air, and he seemed to be very content to play neutral, where you win. He did ItsuuB in CS1 against Hakumen, take your free poke. If you didn't drop combos you probably would've beaten him, you did some good stuff (the way you beat quick get up Hatsu was great, I laughed). Anyways, it was ok. You missed a lot of counters. . . if they get too zealous with baiting counters it's a free escape or opening so you should notice it and adapt. He played pretty safe but I don't think he plays the matchup right. The confusing thing for me was why you were jumping in with barrier at like midrange, he wasn't positioned for 2C and he never used 5B aa. 5A anti-air is not scary for you at all. Look for the things that work, and look for the things that you struggle against. For matchups I need to know what my character can and can't do, and what they can and can't do, in each phase of the match. That's why when I take notes on it I write about all sections of neutral (fullscreen/midscreen/pointblank, air to air and air to ground and ground to air), look at pressure (is there anything annoying they keep doing that I can't readily beat?), mixup (instant overheads? normals safe on ib that forces a guess? silly gimmicks?). Presumably when you're looking into refining your matchups, you're already good with your character, so the amount of work you got to put in on your side is much less (research wise). You know the general gameplan for your character, so it's adding specific things that are effective against that character. GG is fun. BB and GG are two games I both enjoy. To be honest, BB is a pretty fair game, there's just shit like Arakune existing and stuff that I don't like. I feel like it's probably among the better new school fg's to come out.
  4. 1 - optimal input for ryuuisou is 62123698C. basically, hit forward, back, then roll all the way up to up, then C. 2 - yes, you jump back with 7 and do chun. however this combo isnt really useful since they jacked up chun's prorate 3 - thats random lol. . . but you can connect with it like 8 or 9 times. but really you should just do one and do ippatsuB (just hit B while youre on it) into whatever. dont worry about stuff like "spamming" or whatever 4 - comboing into airthrow is not legit 5 - controller vs stick doesnt matter, use whatevers more comfortable for you. however i highly recommend stick. even if you learned stick and cs2 came out youd be able to just learn it, and you could play any other game on stick, as well as play at arcades. win/win 6 - 2b > 6d works but only point blank. 2b > 6b > ryuuisou > whatever if youre far but that rarely happens 7 - you would think 6b is useful but you cant special cancel it on block (ie cancel into a special move). 3c is good cause it has that same range and you can special cancel into itsuu stance, then visually confirm if he's airdashing at you, and punish him with itsuu A youre probably talking about his j2C. it actually crosses up - you have to block the other way. he's safe after this against jin if youre blocking his j236d (thats what it sounds like at least) he's safe enough to not be attacked by any moves but reversals. just block it. 8 - hitconfirm is the ability to recognize that a hit has connected and go into an optimal combo example: hitting with 6a and then going into 2c, but if they block it doing 5b hitconfirming is VERY VERY important whatever fighting game you play, and its very important for litchi hitconfirming well will mean youll carry them to the corner a lot, maximize damage and meter gain combo - string of moves that hits them, blockstring, string of moves that hits them blocking keeping them honest. . . this is sorta conceptual, but it's basically showing the opponent that you can do something to them, so that next time you do it, you can do something else example, jin has a hop kick (6b), they really like ib'ing 5c[m] and using it to hop over 3c. so to stop them from doing it you do 5c > 6d which will win

  7. It's fine to do optimal stuff, the main thing I thought was lacking was your decision making on defense. Like it's fine to press buttons or do a risky things. A risky thing looks smart if it works. I just think you took risks in places where it's too heavily skewed against you too many times.
  8. additional stuff being added recently jin players have been doing this annoying pressure where they do air B ice sword > airdash theres no gap if you block the ice sword. . . im pretty sure we can just IB > 5A > full combo but that would mean letting them in that position i think im going to use itsuu against this and try to hit them out of the sword. originally i thought it would be best to guard point the ice sword and then do itsuu but they can airdash away resetting neutral isn't bad but i want that damage, lol . . . on the subject of itsuu, its pretty fucking good in this match if used well in neutral. itll definitely be mandatory next game, thats for sure also, i dunno if this is common knowledge but here is some general blocked D dp tactics - 1. Gold burst 2. Itsuu (will lose to fully charged D DP) 3. Block 2nd hit > 6B 4. Ryuuisou 5. 2B[m] 6. 3C[m] 7. Jump Ryuuisou/gold burst/2B is probably best. Itsuu is good but it sucks if they fully charge. Jumping over is great, just remember to barrier. You can get airdash jC to connect too. unfortunately we aren't like tao and we cant just crawl after blocking the first hit ;_; edit: keep in mind jin cant do 2a > purple throw
  9. Your play seemed unexpectedly wild and unfocused. It really showed when you were playing as Litchi. . . For a character like Mu, I think that's ok. It's obvious - she has big normals that are active for a long time. Right now you play all your characters pretty much the same way (just basing it on the footage). That doesn't work too well. You like picking high risk options too much when most of your chars don't get that good reward for it. I guess you could argue that if you're a zoner, just getting control back is enough of reward to warrant the risk, but I feel like you have to judge it based on character. Example, I think you used quick get up way too much vs Bang. You rolled out of the corner against Daisharin (in tourney no less). Why? I definitely feel like against lower and mid-level Litchi's, they'll definitely stick with just a couple of safe Daisharin setups. You had 50 meter, you could've easily just neutral teched and just waited for a chance to CA. Considering that Mu's damage off random hits is average at best, it's definitely best to minimize damage taken. . . I feel like you let yourself get hit by a lot of stuff that you shouldn't. That's rather vague. You should find out what kind of stuff the characters can do and see what Tager can do about it - definitely capitalize on anything you can punish all the time. After, find out if there's any Tager specific things for matchups that you have to worry about. Start with characters you play against a lot, then work your way down.
  10. hrm i felt like she had it . . . she doesnt have it on block or hit huh? well most important is that 5c > 4d connects. . . it seems like it only works on crouchers, but i could be wrong
  11. im fine with almost every other button > 4d
  12. its very easy in cs2 b > delay c > delay b
  13. 3c ch > 5d > 5c > etc
  14. You can. Although, I feel like you're at the level where you should see your own problems to be honest.
  15. i mean a bunch of people, definitely the S and A level players know how to deal with it but even when you know how to deal with it you can still get hit . . .
  16. well japan. . . .
  17. so litchi is also being consistently ranked higher than she was at CS2 start she's like A+/A pros - still good okizeme, corner carry off most stuff, sometimes gets higher corner damage than CS1 Litchi, much stronger staffless pressure, 4D is gdlk in the corner and also corner carries, 6c > 5d is +5, 6b is a useful move cons - low damage off far pokes, no jC wall bounce, no itsuucan, still unsure/maybe impossible to corner carry off far staff hits
  18. so shounen is number 3 on the top psr rankings. . . .
  19. yeah, not even close to what she can do
  20. galileo entered under a different name his litchi is serious
