The connection grading system is kind of capricious. It sometimes takes forever to determine connections with players that I know live in AZ or California, but it also occasionally has smooth matches at a zero bar connection. That said, I've had mostly positive experiences in player match with west coast players

Your Kanji is the best I've played from AZ. There will probably be a lot of Kanjis there if that bugs you.

Does anyone have any good mixups with Mitsuru? I have a friend that blocks everything. And now that throw resets are barely working, I have nothing to open him (Labrys) up with if he plays lame. Her AoA is just too slow.

Yosuke's sweep is a pretty good dodge for Mitsuru's 5A, just so you know. You can always coup droit after he goes airborne to avoid the mixup or end up right next to him if he decides to flip backwards to elude a DP. Otherwise, abuse j.A when you can and activate some of Yosuke's FAs with a max range 5A.

This is one of the only matchups where I use the "counter assault." I feel like a skilled yu could keep himself safe with a well performed blockstring. What I really want to know is what to do after Yu knocks you down and sets up his strong oki game?

From playing a couple of different Kanjis. I have had a lot of success using Artemisia's D attacks. It prevents Kanji from calling thunder down while removing a persona card and if he tries to air tackle you, you can react with a DP. At close range I like the idea of using j.C because Kanji's DP will punish any of Mitsuru's pokes at any range. And whenever Kanji is in the air, 2b beats all of his options.

To be fair, there is an FE character named Rath who was moderately cool, but Rathalos were free to flash bombs and super adorable. Gunlance all day.
