For this event I will set a venue of $2 if you just want to come and play. We will try to make these tournies better for everyone in the future.

Hello all, We do need some more CRTs and ps2 setups....please bring them if you have them. If anyone wants to bring a random setup we will find a place for it for more setups. Everyone come down and bring a friend. Also tentative start times for BB/GG have been moved up. BB start time 2:30-3ish and GG 3:30-4ish. Parking is kind of difficult. There is both space in the front and back and residential parking for days towards the back of the store. There are no decals or signs for the store yet since it only opened about 2 days ago. All that will be in place next week.

Everything is looking good so far. I will have pics/walk around vid of the place probably by wed/thur. The only thing I will need help with from the community is ps2s + ggac. I will be getting CRTs throughout the week so hopefully that wont be a concern but we are not spending extra on ps2 systems + games. So minimally I have ggac/hnk/fuc/mb, I will need more ps2s+ggac or whatever game. Brett should be bringing Chaos Breaker as well. I will keep you all posted. FUC and Chaos Breaker seems to be the poverty games of choice...I am always happy to set up HnK but we only have about 3-4 people who really know how to play. If I can secure about 40 bucks or so for a free GG tourney winner takes all, can we push to get more people? I really want to promote the GG scene the most and I will try hard to get a more sizeable pot. Dont miss out on free stuff on all the events.....also the main monthly tourney will be this month on the 18th. Sorry for the delay on posting info but we will be giving out over 1k for combined games so get ready. I really want to get these events split on their own days to make a strong community. Ideally SSF4/T6 on one day and BBCS/GG on another, with random other games mixed in. I cant wait until MvC3 come out! Also note: this is an mtg store so if you play there will be people to play with, also we dont really have a closing time so it really is ALL DAY play.

We will prob do different days eventually, but we need to see turnout first. Hopefully BB can grow enough so we can just do BB/GG on a single day and capcom stuff on another day.

Weekly Versus: Details (Subject to change, but this will be the likely format for every Sunday session) DATE: SUN DEC 5th is the first session Entry is $3 per game - This is for all day play and ranbat Minimum guaranteed payout for ranbats are as follows: 100$ for Super Street Fighter 4 50$ for Blazblue Continuum Shift 30$ for Guilty Gear Accent Core This is guaranteed minimum regardless of the number people that show up. The pot size will increase, however, depending on the number of players. So if only 10 people enter SSF4 we will still pay out 100 to the Top3. Start Times (Tentatvie) SSF4 and BBCS will be run on EVO monitors and PS3s, players need to bring appropriate joysticks/adapters. PS2 games will be on stand def TVs. 11:00 am Venue opens. Registration and casuals from open to ranbat start times. 1:00 pm SSF4 ranbat start time. 3:00 pm BBCS ranbat start time. 4:00 pm GGAC ranbat start time. Close time is subject to change, but it likely won’t be until 10pm+. Casual play is all day before and after ranbats. You can casual for any game but we do ask that you enter at least one. There is no spectator fee but people that entered get priority to any and all setups. Other games that will be around should room/time permit are Chaos Breaker, Melty Blood Actress Again, Fate Unlimited Code, Hokuto no Ken or whatever you feel like bringing. Rules (Tentatvie) • All games will be 70/20/10 split • All games are singles. • All games are double elimination • All game will be 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches, full round time. Grand Finals will be 3/5 matches unless players consent to change. • For all games winner keeps the same character, loser may switch. Ultras may be changed for both. • For all games both players agree to stage selection. • Mid game pause can result in game loss. SSF4 • All characters allowed. BBCS • All characters allowed except Valk (he will be allowed one week after his xbl release). • Unlimited characters banned. GGAC • Kliff, Justice, EX/gold characters are banned. Standard code of conduct • Be respectful of others around you and the venue. • No stealing of store or personal property (there will be security cams). • Friendly heckling is encouraged but don’t take it overboard. • People can and will be asked to leave if they can’t behave themselves in an appropriate manner.
