  1. A neat little combo I came up with (could alright be known but meh). The nice part about it is you can do it at 100% hp and still get like 4.2k or 3.8k but the only downside is that you have to have to the opponent in the corner but as amane that shouldn't be too difficult. So if you ever have the momentum this is a good combo to try out grab> 236d(D)> OD> 5b> 236c> 5b> 6b> airdash j2c> 6d> zettou j2c> 6d: 4.2k Stuff> airdash j2c> zettou j2c< j236c: 3.8k
  2. There was this amane that recently popped up in a tourney. His name was shiro. He did some interesting drill combos and I think it opened up a lot of possibilities.   3. well i dont really have an OS for that but you can easily bait burst if you do a dashing 2c. It will take them a while to recover from the 2c so it gives you some time to jump if you see a burst. something like 623d (2)< 66 2c< delayed ja< jc< 214a.... you miss out on a lot of damage. The combo ends up doing about 3.7k but if they burst during 2c animation they get baited... hard. it just takes timing i suppose.
  4. if they did that they might as well give carl the clap loop back... although i do wish they would make his jb faster. They never give jin the edge. He can just do everything okay. I hope for the next game they totally revamp him. Make him an entirely different character. I want it to be a dramatic change like it was from CT to CS1
  5. Meh. not really. In CS2 the combinations weren't really that complex (not to say the combos now take some higher understanding to execute). It's just that in cs2 you had one combo mid screen that gave you 3.3k every time. Now you have at least triple that amount of combos mid screen. So the fact that you have so many options can trip up some people's execution if they try to wing it most of the time. And there are specifics like if you are too far from a crouching enemy 6c< 2d wont link, or if don't do a dashing 6c after sekkajin jc won't connect. It's small things like these that throw people off sometimes. You never really had that problem in CS2

  8. do you honestly think the average player has the reaction for that though? It isn't too easy to pull off. I've only done it once and when I baited the burst I was like "oh shit! I blocked it!" and I hesitated so i couldn't follow up with a combo ._.
  9. meaty 6d? That sounds unsafe. Explain. And yeah, after the 6c dc you should be able to do a sj jc into 214d. I mean it is 6d after all.
  10. found out another corner carry combo if you ever catch your opponent with 6d (rare but it does happen). 6d< 6b< dash 5c< sekkajin< 5c< 6c dc< sj j< 214d< 3c< 214a< 623b< 6a< 3c< 214a
  11. You should always try to do optimal combos. The only thing you're doing is prolonging the round. Anyways... this is the combo i usually go for: 5c< 5d< 214d< dash 6c dc< 623b< 6a< 3c< 214a< 3c< 214c you can just omit the 3c and 214c at the end for another 214a

  13. Meh... I thought Kei was trying too hard. I'm not in the guys mind so i really don't know what was going on but i think he must of been nervous or something; i've seen him take down players stronger than the ones he was playing against.

If I had to think of something it would be: (you're in corner) D DP(1) RC< 66 5c< 6c dc< 623< stuff I'm sure that would get you somewhere between 4.2-4.5k though Edit: @eQualzz; yeah, it is a very situational mix up though. I try not to rely on it too much but i throw it out there out there every once in a while to mind fuck people lol some people use j.b or j2c for the high but I like to use j.a; it's faster and you can get some pretty good damage off of it surprisingly. Anyways, there is a lot of things you can do off the 214b/a rc mix up
  15. you guys were discussing what to do after first hit D dp in the corner. The combo I do is kind of difficult but if you land it you get somewhere around 5.2k D DP(1)< 6c< 623b< 66 6c< 623c< 5b(2)< 5c< 6c dc< sjc J.c< j.d< iad j2c< j.c< 5b< 5c< 3c< 214c= 5.3k if you add your two ice arrows into the mix the highest you could get is around 6.5k but since you rarely hit someone with the first hit off D Dp without RC you'll be doing the former combo.
  16. is that off the throw? there really isn't much to do. I usually do stuff> 3c> 623b> 6a> 3c> 214a> 3c> 214c. However. if you're talking about his combos in general then they get a little more complicated than that lol
  17. umm... I do 2c fatal> j2c> 5c sjc> stuff> dash sekkajin>6c> 214c I like this combo because it makes the combo safe if you they burst the minute they get hit by the fatal. And it has could corner carry as well.

  20. hmm... got some nice piece of info (if it wasn't already something conventional to begin with). Found out an OS to bait gold bursts. Some characters you might not want to try this on often because of their dps and/or counters: hakumen, ragna, litchi with staff, etc. however, characters like arakune, staffless litchi, platinum without bat and carl who can't do much of anything if they don't have meter are perfect to use this on repeatedly. the OS: do 2a then quickly press 4B+C. If they opponent decides to gold burst on wake up (it can also work if you try to rush them down and they throw out a gold burst) your 2a will whiff and you'll barrier guard the burst. However if they decide not to do this 2a< 5b will come out instead allowing you to continue pressure. it's pretty nice so i would advice anyone to give it a try in training to see for yourselves.

  22. I agree with Jourdal.... I will be dropping jin once AC hits consoles. My baby ABA will be back! Too bad I live in a dull part of georgia where the FG community isn't present On a side note, that under night-in-birth looks nice. I actually want to try out that fighter.

  25. Haven... hurry up and get a ps3 version of extend so we can play lol and CS2 jin was okay. I've come to realize that jin is a hard character to win with (I don't mean you can't win with him it's just more difficult than other characters). We actually have to work for damage and good pressure... ragna just uses 6b and you're done.
