  2. For now I just have one piece of advice... ZONE THE FUCK OUTTA HIM! J.a is extremely fast so you can't approach him wildly in the air. And if you slip up you could be taking a 3-4k combo midscreen :/ not to mention his pressure can get overwhelming at times... so it would just be a smarter decision to play keep away until you KNOW for a fact that it is okay to rush him down.

  5. corner combo: (note that it only works on characters that can be hit with the 214c ender, except rachel... doesn't work on her for some reason that i'm not able to figure out at the moment) B+C rc< 6c< 623b< dash 6c< 623c< 5b(2)< 5c< 6c dc< sj j.c< j.d< delayed iad j.2c< j.c< land 5b(2)< 3c< 214a< 3c< 214c it does 4.6k and gives you 50 heat so you have the option of either doing it again or using it for a 6a rc

  9. I mean you're only losing out on about 70 damage... doesn't really make much of a difference. The point of the combo is just to get better oki than stuff< iad j2c< jc< 5b(2)< 5c< 3c Edit: Ah, misread the question. At that moment it's just a matter of preference. The j2c<jc will give you 3k and at most you're losing out on what... 100 damagae? It still doesn't make it a round changing combo. Also, I just like being able to end with 214c. They all give you about 3k so I'm not really picky about which one to use.
  10. lol I got the hang of it now so all is well. on a different note, new combo (not technically new but eh) j2c< 5b< 5c< sekkajin< 5c jc< jb< j2c< jd< land 3c 214c and it does 3k and gives you 40 heat The point of the combo is to be used on characters like litchi, noel and ragna.
  11. please! can someone explain the timing for hazama's j214b loop? i can't seem to get it... do I delay 2c, j214b? Do I not delay them at all and do it as fast as possible?

  14. Be cautious when using 236a against tager also. If let's say he does 5a and it whiffs he can just do a 360. I'm not exactly how much recover frames 236a has but I'm pretty sure you can't jump of backdash for a short amount of time. Howeever, if you hav ignis out then there are no worries as you can make the move safe with 6d. It all really depends on when tager does 5a
  15. Coming up with some pretty cool stuff with jin in extend. The 623D rc corner carry combo is back (if it was not already known) (you're in the corner) 623D (2) rc< 2b< 5c< 6c dc< 623b... The timing is kind of strict for 623B to link, and I haven't really came up with a good way to end it other than 6c dc< jc jump cancel< jc< 214c but I'll get back to you guys when I figure out something more damaging.

  18. This. Jin is my main but he was become dull while everyone is looking stylish lol when I saw that litchi combo vid Jourdal uploaded I was like "damn!" It made me want to pick up litchi... and I don't even like the bitch. Yet, when I saw jin's I thought "meh, that's cool." Tetsu... where are you!

It's just if they neutral tech you can continue pressure, if they tech back or forward you could do 6c, 2c, ja, air throw... so you have a lot of options depending on how they tech. However, I won't be using it as good as it sounds (in theory). Well, I might use it a couple times to see the dynamics for it myself but I won't be using it like ren lol

  21. if we were ever to get CT J.b back... people would rage. There would be no more 5a aa for ragna xD on a different note my copy of extend was shipped yesterday... hopefully I'll get it in about three days.
  22. just speculation but 5c CH< 6c dc< 623D... I'm thinking since 6c launches them farther and I think it has a longer hit stun (don't hold me to that statement because I don't really remember the changes).
  23. well you can just hold C for sekkajin to come out so that makes it easier than mashing C (do whatever is comfortable for you though). And when I do it I input the dash after jc. you don't necessarily have to wait until you land. Just do jc low enough.
