That happens to me too lol i'm trying to get better at confirming it instead of just rapid cancelling when i use it. I mean it's okay in some aspects because you can continue pressure, but at the cost for 50 heat? I don't think so.

well i just found out that someone got a little irritated over the videos I posted on YT, and made a response video of me losing (even though the set was pretty casual to begin with) 0.0 I hate people lol but this isn't the place for that. @Jourdal, yeah... maybe one day someone will upload a video of him in casual matches.

Tetsu as number one tao? Meh... I prefer sattsuo and tsujikawa. Matoi is a nice tao too, and so is kazuhira. Why are there so many good taos? C'mon jp jins... step it up.

That gimmick at 4:07 was nice... I'm going to have to remember that one when I get extend.

@Shin, eh... I won't say you're unorthodox lol but you don't really play along with the group either. The only thing I can say for you is you use a lot of gimmicks, mainly the 623c reset in the corner (not really a problem but what happens when you're opponent starts adjusting and they don't work anymore?). I recall one time you telling me how I adjusted too well to your play style, and it wasn't really that. It was after I saw all your tricks I had nothing to fret over, and I would just use my more damaging combos to take control of the match. I one wanna see some more damaging combos outta you :D and not just whatever you can confirm. But eh, what the hell do I know? lol just do your thing bro.

I'm importing extend, but our connection is shit now so I doubt it will be any better once I get the game. Anyways, how long do you think it will take? I'm not prepared for waiting three weeks for the game, and I'm heading back to school in about two weeks so that means it will have to be mailed to me again! Iirc I did fast shipping...

Meh... I was a little disappointed with that jin combo vid. I was actually more interested in watching tager's lol I know jin could get more damage than that. All I can do now is just wait till I get it I guess.

@solex, i do but like you i'm kind of lazy lol and I'm not really sure what the job description is. I maybe be good but I'm not as active as some of the other people who get on here. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it if given the task but some people are probably better suited. lol we're getting pretty hype about this mod thing though. I bet shtkn is like "dance puppets, dance!" On a side note I got another funny thing. I've tested it out in training mode and it worked one time in a match but I'm still trying to work out the mechanics for it. Btw it only works on makoto and ragna... maybe tsubaki too but they haven't been tested on. Well let's say you have ragna in the corner and your opponent is kind of trigger happy with ID. When they are waking up if you jump forward at a specific time ID will whiff. Essentially what's happening is ID is propelling ragna forward, and you're jumping over him before the move occurs so he'll go right behind you. It works... but I wouldn't recommend using it in matches yet until I figure it out perfectly. By all means though practice this in training.

@solex, Me as a mod? lol no lie, I did always want to be the jin mod but didn't know how to. I appreciate the nomination lol really doesn't matter who it is though. I'll still do my job of bringing you guys useful things. Speaking of which I came up with nice combo mid screen. It gives you 3.3k for 50 heat. It's not too situational but I would use it as a mix up. Let's say you do jb and as you're about to hit the ground do jc. Make sure that the animation of jc comes out but doesn't actually hit them then input 3c or while they are waking up after ice car knockdown you can do an empty jump 3c. The only thing you should watch out for is if they do wake up air throw or dp. Anyways, here is the combo: 3c< 623a RC< sj jd< iad j2c< jc< sekkajin< 5c< jc jump cancel< j2c< 214b. I think this gives you 3.2k but you can get an additional hundred or so if you do 5c before the sekkajin. I'm not sure if it's worth doing in a match or not but it doesn't hurt to add it to your arsenal.

@yuushiro, Well the thread seems pretty old since all of the post are from 2009... and the format which it's using isn't one I was really going for. I was thinking of a more formal angle. I would have the list of the people who signed up on the first page so you could actually see who's where and I would have specified dates for meet ups. If you see it unnecessary though I don't mind. I don't want to clutter the site with repetitious threads lol so sorry guys. Edit: lol I didn't see all of the posts. It does go up to 2011 but the format is informal and I just wanted to go for a better angle.

argh... the jin community is beckoning me to start this thread D: i can feel it lol I'll try to get this thing started for you guys. I'm not really good at coordinating things like this but I'll it a shot! I'll look at the example solex provided to get an idea.

Since most of us are jin mains here why not we try to have a jin meet up every week or so. You know, we just join a room together and play each other. The first step to knowing your opponent's character is to know your own character, and what better way to do so than mirrors. I tried doing something like this in CS1 but no one really attended it :/ oh well... it's just a thought.

@Moi, I couldn't agree with you more but maybe he is trying to come up with a new style of play, or he might be trying to condition his opponent into thinking he is always going to jump. You never know what he could be thinking. I myself wouldn't do that but maybe he was thinking of 2c frame trap and just never did it lol I mean I use jump ins in pressure 0.0 j2c<2b is godlike lol

I heard it comes out on the 17th but only in japan. when is it released in america? or is it on the same day?

I have come to my conclusion my fellow jins; I'm not going to main haz. I like him but I'm too loyal to my character to stop using him all of the sudden. I plan to go go back to my CT roots by maining jin and subbing tao... and I guess hazama too.

I'm trying to watch that stream now... It would be awesome if my inspiration was rekindled. I have been getting better with haz but it would be a shame if three years of jin experience went done the drain... EDIT: I can't watch it

I might need to practice this combo... I used jin the other day for the first time in like a week and I was having fun 0.0 god damn you jin, will you ever let me go? Currently the battle between my mains are still raging; Jin is treading behind haz but speeding up. Makoto, lambda, noel, mu, and rags are still at the bottom. There still may be hope for using jin in extend. @jourdal, I'm a kenshin fan too... maybe that's why I can never let go of jin
