  1. Just sayin', it's not boring at all once you really start learning the game. That's all.
  2. I'm just the opposite. I usually get sick of dealing with all the stupid stuff in other fighters and don't even enjoy watching them after a while. When I first started getting into VF about 4-5 years ago, it did seem a little boring to watch and play at first. But as I continued to play and learn the game, everything became more exciting to me. Now I consider VF to be the most intense, thrilling game ever and I love watching top players like Homestay and Chibita.
  3. I've been JGing since I got the game. Really isn't as hard as people make it seem imo. Still need to work on the timing for certain characters' strings and unblockables, but other than that it's pretty great. As far as GI goes, the only time I use it is with moves that have GI properties. Rarely do I actually spend meter for a GI.
  4. Yeah I got it. It was pretty funny. My mom was the one who answered it and she thought it was some gypsy trying to sell us something, but she soon figured out it was Gamestop and gave me the phone lol.
  5. Same here. But if Kilik is a mimic character, then it will be easy enough for me to drop him. I really do hope that Ely and Kilik aren't mimic characters though. 1 mimic character is enough, we don't need anymore than that.
  6. If I recall correctly, Dio was the first person everybody saw do the Clap Trap. It also seems that there has always been significantly more videos of him than of Kyaku, Ranrebo, and Eesuke. I mean, in CT/CS1 I saw my share of Kyaku/Ranrebo/Eesuke vids, but it did seem like there were more Dio vids than vids of those 3 combined. I think that's why he's been considered a great Carl by most of the BB community (minus the Carl players, lol), people just see him more and he wins. But yeah, I agree. He's a good fighting game player, and he's good at reading his opponent, but he's nowhere near as good of a Carl as Kyaku, Ranrebo, and Eesuke.
  7. It's actually DP safe. Only way to really escape it is to burst or hope the Carl screws up. As far as it being unblockable, that's up to whether or not the Carl times it right. I still see Eesuke and Ranrebo screw up the timing quite often and the opponent manages to block it (block high, then low). But yeah, the loop is stupid. It's like CT Carl all over again.
  8. School work keeps me too busy to attend pretty much any offline tournament. And Tulsa is like a 4 hour drive from here, so I'd have to clear up a couple days to go there. Did you mean j.B? Because I meant the part where the Litchi blocked the j.B/3D reset. I thought j.B/3D was a legit unblockable, or did the Carl not time it to be a true unblockable? I swear it looks like the j.B and 3D hit at the same time to me.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DIVLLQfVfU @ 32:00 How the heck did Galileo manage to block that?
  10. The pink Carl is Eesuke. In CS2, he uses the 4th DLC color (white with some red). He's always been one of the top Carls as far as I can remember.
  11. I've seen some Carls try it from a ground loop. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I haven't seen enough Carls try it to explain why it will/won't work though. KD > 3D is the most reliable way so far.
  12. I don't know if 5C is better. It was a decent poke in CS1 as well. I think it's harder to combo off of a 5C CH in CS2 though.
  13. Item attacks and wall breaks were in T6. Not that surprised they're in TTT2. I do like that they've changed the rage system though. Could be really cool if it's implemented well.
  14. I can only hope that this means 2C is actually useful now in some way. I don't use it at all except for the occasional combo filler.
  15. I thought Vivace B only had head invincibility in CS1, and even then you'd still get hit during recovery. In the vid it looks like Carl goes through 5A spam and recovers fast enough to jump away before getting hit.
