  1. So you all know I was playing aronud with the Assault ground bounce. 5AAA>Assault works and you can follow up (corner only) Go test it out let me see what you guys get. Cause if you do 5aaa>Assault>5a>2B>j.b (They tech out if you j.c after but j.b j.b works but then they tech if you do anything else) Not sure how useful yet but let me know if you guys come up with anything else.
  2. Why not just do 5ab>236b? or does that just put them to high to do the 5a after? I have people coming over tomorrow so I will test more of the mid screen block strings to get to red yellow & red axe. So give me till tomorrow night or saturday to post block safe block string or frame traps to level up the axe. Ill have a strict plan for each character cause certain stuff works on specific characters.
  3. Yeah i just thought i should bring it up. But i got to sit down and play someone really today. All I can say is 5a 5a> 5a 5b > 236b >sweep early. Will be safe at a certain distance if you want to apply solid pressure mid screen. Theres more but im just to tired to type it all out. Ill tell you more tomorrow afternoon when i test it on another character. So far only Aigis its viable on.
  4. Whiffing her axe will level it up. So far her weapon will level up to three by itself. From there 4 & 5 must use either pressure or whiffs. So whiffing normals = good!

  8. I am just going to say I think people should sit down and really keep working on fundamentals within the game they are playing. I do not believe we need to switch to another game to gain a better improvement or foundation of fundamentals that we can gain through playing the game we are currently into. Yes it may help improve but it's just another way of going in a circle and then coming back to apply all you learned from another game to the game you are playing. I am not knocking anyones thoughts about going to play another game to gain the fundamentals but I believe staying within the game you choose to play is better because you work on controlling other tendencies and you still gain match up knowledge as well. If people can not bare to learn from their mistakes and bite their tongues during gameplay and focus on their fundamental game then they are looking down a hard long road or pretty much at this rate losing a lot and not getting better. Which would lead to no progression into this game as everyone else would be. So whatever way you choose to go about it good luck to you all.
  9. "i don't know what to do against j.2c (the tail drop thing) " I actually used 4D which is noels backup like flame thing from the ground. To counter it which pops them back up but i mean its good for a CH but following up wise i still not to sure. Her 4D>6C works okay but it keeps them to high still.
  10. Alright sounds good!!! Thanks a lot im going to be trying that tonight hopefully if I find any tagers online.
  11. So has anyone found any proper way to deal with makoto? or is just kinda keep up a good pressure game and punish her because of all her frames are like slow recovery nearly.
  12. guys if anything so far you can use your anti airs. you have 5c 2D 4D 236ABC 6A = best one so far that pretty much stops a majority of his air tactics. So far from what ive tested but still working on it. If anyone else thinks they can get off alot of the same stuff as im writing down please do let me know. I want to make sure im not the only one. So that if i am then it might be the level of play that is throwing off the readings and timing.
  13. I know im a little new here but from my experience cause i main noel. I like to take tager for a ride by using 236+ABC either one depending on range but of course keeping him at a distance at first. Then Waiting for either a good connect or to the point where he gets a little to comfortable and then i go in from the air mostly to get him comfortable with alot of 5cs and 5bs then throw in some ground running instead of air after I back off every incomplete combo. It is not fullllyy safe but about 70% of my matches I have no fear of getting in and out or staying in on tager. I try to bait some of his grabs with 4C so that it saves me or he eats it but most of the time it just saves me. I would focus on not breaking combos to much in his face though because he usually just grabs you out of it. So focus on giving him a lot of high lows and when you have a bit of distance off of your mix up high lows you can throw in a 5c here and there to bait get him to grab and take that hit. This is just some of my experience though with tager. Still not winning enough matches to him to consider it full proof.
