Some people complain about that, other people like it. I personally don't like it because it limits you to having to carry around a bunch of staves. Of course, at the same time if you're using staves you probably are going to max out on them anyway. I didn't play a force on PSU though, so I could tell you. If you can deal with how old PSO is (See: +10 years) I would definitely recommend it. It's a game you can pick up and play easily, with plenty of in depth building of characters. Certain episodes might give you troubles as certain classes (i.e. Episode II gives Forces problems, while Episode IV gives Rangers problems), but it's pretty easy to get around that. I personally enjoy it still and would recommend it to anyone over 13, mostly because they'll probably have lived in the time of the Dreamcast (R.I.P.).

I haven't had a chance to play the PSP ones, because I don't own a PSP. <_> I've heard that it's what PSU was supposed to be. As for the PC servers shutting down on PSU, you could always play on *giggle* 360. I'm still mad that we haven't gotten anything from PSO2 besides a freaking title screen. Oh, and some vague details.

Both. I've played BB on a couple private servers and I own the GC one. I played PSU:AotI as well for a bit, as long as my wits could handle my slow as heyul computer. Didn't get very far though. PC servers shut down, so I guess I'll never play it again.

I play other games as well, I've been on SSFIV and raging because of not being able to combo well. ONE FRAME SUCKER, THAT'S ALL YOU GET. Learning Guy and Makoto, because I like a challenge. The only thing I'm truly excite for is PSO2, which is Phantasy Star Online 2. Loved the original and still play it to this day.

You gotta keep that pressure man. Otherwise it's GIGANTIC turnarounds. Plus being a low tier character is always fun. Litchi makes me rage. LOLTRIP. I'd get in GG but I really don't want to try it on my computer. It's kind of old. See: 2004. Single core processors, oh yeah.
