Ah, but if you expend 50 heat for a Rapid on the Heart Car, you can easily push into a corner for at least 4k+ if you're half decent and needless to say, better when it's a counter

My apologies for the late reply, for some reason the topic had not updated for me yet until I actually clicked on the topic.... weird. Anywho, I won't deny, last night it wasn't that particular video which had me play Noel again, but a certain video with remixed Sonic music... That brought back good memories, as well as my good Noel memories, as cliche as it sounds. Though I must say, thank you for all your contributions, they helped greatly. Let's just say I could end a corner distortion with a chanced air grab, or I can land a 22C, which fels more satisfying XD I'm nothing spectacular when it comes to BlazBlue, infact I'd go as far as to say I'm a scrub with a high game count, I just like to have fun now and that's all that matters to me. Yes, seeing a high damage number will make you gurgle in the bask of numerical goodness, but back in CS1 with Makoto, seeing something like j.623C-D(whiff) be combo'd is much, much more satisfying and beautiful to watch.

I don't know what to do =/ I know that I'll anger the Plat users, but since you're here; I used to main Noel, in fact since CT, but after all the hate towards her in CS2, and feeling she was a little to easy to play, I felt guilty and started shifting all around the character roster to Tao, Lambda, Litchi, heck, even Hakumen and Carl. But I really want to get back into playing Noel again. You see... I want to use all that Noel has to offer, rather than just exhibiting the classing example of drive spamming of which I loathe, or punching out the most powerful combos only, I want people to look at her combos again and think "whoa, she can do that?!"... I'm rambling on now, but basically what are your thoughts on this?

Good point, imagine how you'd keep blocking, spam shout "BLOCK! BLOCK!! BLOCK!!!"? xD Or even a manly voice detector, you gain bonuses for "playing the part" literally. Would be most lulzy with Tager and Bang I think.

Sym is MUCH better than me, trust me, I just know painful combo's, not how to use them and branch into them effectively. You played a good Platinum too, and you had guts trying Hazama, it's a shame he got nerfed so much.

To be honest, I'm not too sure, though my friends from England had a better connection to people in France xD

You need to do the input very fast, trust me. It takes time but keep practising that move and it'll become second instinct. After 3C, your best bet is almost always a 22C, once you master that, midscreen rapid combos can become really useful.

But then it looks retarted =/ Whereas with Trolly, I feel is more of a meme off of Trinity with the 'y' there. Plus it makes for some nice supermarket jokes =D The Gamertag "PlatinumTheLoli" was already taken,so I just changed it to "TheTrollyLoli" from "Rin Rin xD" (based off of Rin Kagamine and a now dead clan). I'll probably change it at a later date back to it's original form "Findlay27" at some point, though I'm in no hurry.

I've decided to nickname Platinum as "Trolly", purely because she's a Troll and a Loli. Which is why I love her =D

With the Hammer Loop hitting twice at the end (sj5C, dj5C, 5D, 5C, sj5B, j5C, dj5C, 5D), you get the following from the above combo... 4882 Damage, 44-46 heat Gain (can't remember exactly, Requires 50 Heat Using this as a 100 heat combo, I managed to get 6220 Damage ending the hammer loop with a 5C, DD. I don't know if this is a practical combo, but hopefully I managed to contribute... provided this isn't an old combo xD

I've not extensively looked through the thread, but I'm trying to get a rapid combo to work, I was hoping someone could try it for me with the results... *please excuse the kinda crappy terminology* Requirements: Magical Pow Hammer, Midscreen (near'ish to a corner) 5B, 5C, 3C, 22C, RC, 66, 2C, 236B, 66, 5C, 2C, 214C, 5D, Hammer Loop I got the hammer loop in once, doing 4249 damage, but I don't know how long it can be extended for. Sorry if I'm probably posting old combos.

Well, she has an amazing pressure game to say the least - When you can get in close, I know that 5B and 5C can chain into 6A - Mami Circular is advised NOT to be used for a pressure game as it's a highly unsafe move on block -> However, one you hit it right, mid or full screen you should probably think about what to do with your current item -> Near a corner, you can follow up for a good corner bnb, be it using 22C pickups or hammer loops -> If you land a close up 6A, 5C 236B, you can follow up with a second 236B to almost always push your opponent into a corner to follow up as necessary. I don't know much, but there are MUCH more options for Platinum. However one of her greatest downfalls is indeed landing in pokes with slow start up. Which is why 5B would be recommended imo unless you're intending to pressure with 5A. ---QUICK NOTE--- Note how in the Combos section, it pins that a dashed combo start up makes her combos more effective. This also applies to her pressure game. Against certain characters, a dashed 5B, 5C 236A can catch opponents off guard quite well, good for resets, baiting a burst if they expect you to use Mami Circular I hope I managed to help a bit d<_< EDIT: Replaced "Magical Symphony" with "Mami Circular"
