[P4A] Chie Satonaka Vs. Yukiko Amagi - BFFs
Fallacy replied to Amadeus46Art's topic in Chie Matchups
Tips and tricks? right now I'm just trying to get to a range where I can roll her 5c. -
Oh yeah this game only gives you 20 escape options, zoners must be terrible.
-
Nice 3C shenanigans, definitely gonna try that.
-
22C was plus on block?
-
Yeah, Tsubaki is good in this version and arakune's damage is lower. From the perspective of a Tsubaki player, Platinum is ass.
-
Holy crap counter assaults are gonna cost a primer? wtf! thats gonna suck.

Is Blazblue a good competitive fighting game in your opinion?
Fallacy replied to Dragonslayer9's topic in Archive
As of CSII BB is a great competitive fighting game. It has the least amount of random and takes the most skill when compared to any of the games that are popular right now. Unfortunately, people like to play crappy games. -
I don't think it's possible for Tsubaki to be that bad again. If she is then I'll just focus on a different game until the next version.
-
Vita is Dec. 17 in Japan and BBCSX is a launch title.
-
Commentary during this game was hilarious.
-
idk so far I think the blazblue games have gotten more balanced with each game, we'll see if CSEX changes that
-
cool maybe i'll get to fight mu every now and then in csex

Airk covered most of the lambda matchup there. Fighting different lambdas is kinda hard imo because most have different weaknesses. If they have really fast 5d's jumping is a better option. If they like to go for anything else then 236X is your friend. If you miss the chance to punish a spike chaser don't block it because you'll lose a primer, super jumping and charging is what I usually go for but watch out for 6D. Regarding act parsers way 22A is a good option not only against jumps but also 3C which some lambdas might use to beat out alot of tsubaki's normals, namely 5B. In this matchup I definitely think lambda is meant to be aggressive and use moves like sickle storm to keep pressure on, if they play like this you'll want to have meter for dead angles. Most importantly, once you get in don't let her go without taking alot of damage or giving up a burst.

Being able to combo off ground throw without stock will be nice.
-
*Waits for new combos to show up*
-
Some good ideas. Thanks.

Yeah keep doing it the timing on the dash is the hard part. You have to buffer the dash and the 2cc right after the j214a. Keep practicing and you'll get it.
-
Yeah, I was talking about when I know he will do it. Played a guy yesterday who would just dead spike whenever I blocked a 5c. I started to jump backwards but it just got me put in the corner and forward jump got me hit.
-
Yeah I do that sometimes when I'm warming up just have to slow it down a little bit then its all good.
-
Best way to punish dead spike?

Bang is matchup that you kind of have to grind and find your own style for. Thing I do vs bang more than other characters: air throw, 3c, mash 2a. If Bang is going random you can get away with things you normally wouldn't be able to. If he isn't going random then you can play a little more traditionally but you want to still have good movement. You can't let Bang get in for free, but if you can make him waste nails then the matchup gets a lot easier.

Regarding 5b, it kind of sucks vs tao she can crawl under it and its definitely not gonna get you out of any pressure. I like to match my version of j.214x with whatever my opponent is doing if they retreat and try to catch you from the other side of the screen you can do j.214a or not do anything. Once you're in tao pressure it's fairly hard to get out, I like to use 5a and counter assaults. I've experimented alot with 2c and it usually ends with me getting counter hit. You really have to play good in neutral and pressure really hard once you get the chance. It's a little harder once tao gets 50 heat and you have to bait distortions, so I recommend getting on the offense early. It should be noted that all of my Tao experience is vs XDest and I have very little success vs him.

Anyone have any tools to stop tech rolling midscreen?
-
so true. And I tend to just do air combo off 5b anti air.
-
Is this even possible? I've never had to do such a thing and as far as I know it can't be done.
