  1. Going into 6D is probably your best bet. On normal hit you can go into 6D~B or A as Surf said, and if it's CH you could easily just go out of 6D into 2D stance and do 2D~A > B orb.
  2. ggs to all the cool cats I played today.
  3. ggs to Axis. Sorry for turning into a goddamn retard halfway through our games.
  4. I'm gone by the 19th, unfortunately, so I won't be able to make it. (We should do something on the 19th)
  5. ggs to PinkuJP, your Amane is rockin! I look forward to fighting you again, gotta get that matchup experience.
  6. I will be taunting like the Fist of the North Star. Hopefully the Acorn of the North Star comes shortly after that.
  7. I need more than a 10% chance to throw an acorn. Please and thank you.
  8. You can call out Azrael backdashing by running up and grabbing dat ass. The opportunity doesn't show itself too many times, but it's a good thing to keep in mind. But yeah, this matchup is just exhausting for everyone involved. We lose a lot of our better oki tools and only Az's with balls of steel will go for their normal mixups. Also, just because he has growler, don't think that this means you shouldn't use orbs at all. They are still a viable tool against him, but you probably shouldn't be using them for oki or at full screen. I find it best to play neutral like you're fighting Tager. Carefully use your C normals for spacing. Throw orbs at him if he jumps, but is too far for 6C. You'll get your chance to get in if he blocks the orbs. On the defense, keep your flashkick handy. Azrael loses a lot of options for mixup thanks to flashkick, so he has to choose his moves way more carefully. This makes for an awful lot of Mexican stand-offs, which can be fun, but don't be a jackass. You can wait to flashkick on reaction to whatever he does, or take the opportunity to get in for pressure.
  9. Forward dashing in 6D stance? I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Do you have a way to record what you're talking about so we can see?
  10. Yeah I guess those 6a > A orb combos I was testing in training mode were all just my imagination, my bad
  11. Hrm, I guess that's true. I guess this will all just depend on how quickly it recovers, but I still feel like we'll be able to have midscreen meterless stuff off 6A. SPECULAH
  12. Naturally, you charge orb after 6A. Is this all that hard to grasp? I propose the same idea to you. Because it does work on CH 6A, as seo said. The point I'm trying to make is that if it's totally possible to combo A orb off 6A as it is now, there's essentially no reason at all that it wouldn't be possible in the iteration where it has less recovery. Hell, depending on how quickly it recovers, we may just be able to do 5B or 2A without a problem.
  13. I guess we aren't, because it is entirely possible to combo A orb off 6a in the state that he is now. Whether it's a link or cancel I can't say for sure, but it is more than possible.
  14. Again, don't take it so heavily. It can still be special cancelled, so we may be able to do some route with Orbs. Also, its recovery has been reduced, so its very possible that we will just be able to link something afterwards.
  15. Do you know what Jin has to do to combo off of his overhead? Relax.
