  1. Meter steal does require the burst to overdrive and it's nice to have 50 meter so that you can RC before hand instead of OD canceling (which you gain back 75 meter minimum regardless), but even if you OD cancel, you can still steal at least 75 meter from them. Any lower than that -- to my knowledge and exploration with combos for meter steal -- does need the initial 50 meter though. But hey, if they haven't reached 100 meter yet, you're guaranteed to reduce them to 0 meter. They'll have like... 5 meter when it's finished because the final hit of OD 632146D doesn't steal meter. It's not as situational as it seems though. I've been doing it at least 90% of my matches now.
  2. Did it occur to anyone that you could reduce the opponent's meter from 100 -> 20 or less with a <50% overdrive? All I see are combos and discussions about his meter GAIN, not what he can do to limit the opponent's options by reducing their meter. lol
  3. Good games, guys. And special shoutouts to Ctrlaltwtf for the chain air-stalling as Haz. What a boss.

  5. Might already be known. I posted about it in the wrong thread before... epic;failure I was messing around in training mode and happened to notice that Hazama's taunt changes when he's matched against Ragna. This version of his taunt lasts for a much shorter time frame than the regular-- so being the troll dedicated member of the community that I am, I decided to test it with some rapid cancel commands to see if it could safely be used in a match. The only real *combo* I've got it to work with is after Jayoku Houtenjin. 1) Jayoku Houtenjin > Rapid Cancel > Taunt > Follow-up. 100% Heat for something situational, but if you're about to win the match and have the heat to spare, why not? The easiest guaranteed methods to follow-up after the taunt are: 1)Forward dash > 5C > 2C > 4D > 4D > [air string] 2)Forward dash > 5B > 2C > 4D > 4D > [air string] 3)Forward dash > 214D~C > 5C > 2C > 4D > 4D > [air string] 4)Forward dash > 5B > 214D~B [Decent if you want to try and read them with a Hungry Coils] And for other silly purposes. Taunting + Grabbing at the same time results in Hazama laughing while performing his throw.
  6. Oh, well yeah, that helps. I didn't realize that the Q&A thread around here was used for noting stuff like that as well. Thanks.
  7. I'm not sure if this should even be posted here, but I noticed that Hazama's taunt changes when you're playing against Ragna. The taunt is quicker than his usual match-up taunt, so if you have 100% heat, you can rapid cancel after Jayoku Houtenjin -> Taunt -> Guarantee a follow-up. Oh, and if you taunt and grab at the same time, he'll do the laugh while grabbing. Kind of useless outside of trolling purposes and might already be known, but I'm new around here so... just sayin'.
