Awesome stuff today guys. Glad I got to meet some of socal's best, I had a great time. Shoutouts to storm (for being a friendly face), justus(for hosting the thing and not remembering where he put the slash CD), and to everyone that showed up. I learned a bunch, and hopefully I'll be less of a scrub next time we meet

I've had similar problems. Is it better to buy a real copy of slash instead of playing the burned one? On occassion my ps2 goes haywire and won't run slash or causes really long load times.

The more I ask questions the more I realize that it's pretty hard to make a Jam combo guide...so much of it is just improv and judgement of height and distance. Thanks anyway tho, atryu :D

Zomg we can bring our joysticks to plug in over there? I'm gonna try it sometime, playing those sticks can be a headache sometime. And as for Hattori Hanzo, yea, that (horrible)Slayer was mine. My buddy, Bryan, was playing Zappa. GG's, hope to play more in the future. I definitely need more live practice :O

lol. I can't say it was ULTRA bad, but I did have a pretty hard time executing a few things. It seems like the K button on the left side was a bit unresponsive :X and the right side would randomly cause bursts when you hit HS. Grats :/

Well I mean it wasn't the end of the world, but it was pretty annoying. Like if you can go just go for the sake of the gathering. Envyhax's stuff starts around 3PM, so you gotta get to me before then.

Dude...I was just there on Tuesday and SHIT the fucking left stick is hella broke. First off the actual stick takes absolute perfect and fluid motion to execute QCF's and QCB's and then the P and K buttons don't respond unless you smack em hard. And what time is this going to be at anyway?

Ahh nice. Also, is the K>S>S>2HS(1-hit)>236K>etc. combo worth doing? I think 2HS prorates a bunch but I'm not sure. If not I'm just gonna go with that combo you have there, atryu. It's just a bit unorthodox :P

Oh yea purrin! (it's MMM_FIRE) I only have one real playtest partner (he was at pulsr's last time) and that's all I really play with. I'm pretty much a scrub just got on the GG scene, hopefully I can learn from you guys. But yea, I'm down to play whenever on the weekends. ...and as for meeting you....I saw you take on BAS's team back at evo. Close one versus Ruu :P

Still having trouble with 236TK input after 5S(f). Any suggestions? I keep getting non-TK'd kicks or a HJ :/
