yeah I brought my copy of AH3 there and nobody was playing MK9 after that tourney had ended, so pkrstdnt was nice enough to let me pop it in one of the ps3s for casuals. it was fun but since I was letting other people play it for most of the day I didn't get a chance to take on binh or jet or oso. but there's always the next meetup! also due to other commitments I am unfortunately not going to be able to make it to the next TBF. you guys are gonna have to sort out transportation and all that amongst yourselves : /

I have had Suguri/Acceleration of Suguri for years on my PC, the first one's a pretty fun (and difficult) horizontal shmup. Acceleration's a lot of fun to play with other people, it's like deathmatching with touhous. I used to netplay it with a friend of mine back in the day, I should pick up the PSN version. Spewing hundreds of missiles at people never ceases to get any less amusing.

you know, I don't really have a problem with going to the DFW fight club and being a hype machine for the anime games even if they give me shit for arcana heart I'll tell them to stick it up their arse like I did at bar fights 3 mightfo that really isn't a bad idea, we should probably do that every once in a while, at least just to get the exposure out

actually I was planning on going to OK as well, at least once, and this is probably the best opportunity I'll have to go I am even willing to provide transportation for up to two, yes TWO other people to go with me edit: actually I was reminded of plans I already had made for that exact saturday, so we'll have to see how much interest there is in boogieing down to OK. if enough people are interested and we can cover gas expenses/food/whatever for everyone easily, I will most likely be down for going. otherwise yeah.

zreb that's because it's at an anime convention and they're trying to include every video game player that goes, not just fighting game fans although I am honestly surprised they are not doing a halo or cod tourney there but madden is going down, that is fucking strange

if it's anything like last year, it'll be all console setups. it's generally ps3/xbawks/wii setups but if there's a spare space or tv not being used you can sometimes ask the staff and they will let you borrow the space if you brought a setup and it requires you have a badge to get in, so no it's not free technically I am not rooming there also, just commuting back and forth to the con
