  1. The thing that impressed me the most was the double Jayoku relaunch combo. If this works on everyone, we might just have our new 9.5k BnB...
  2. New Hazama tutorial uploaded on Jourdal's channel. Best tutorial I've seen for Hazama in CS2 so far. Seems to address all the issues with 6C, 6DA, 4DA, j.6DD and etc. Can anyone translate it?
  3. It's pretty much muscle memory for me unlike any other typical JC combo like Valk's j.B > JC > j.B > JC > j.C
  4. People barely use it in Japan. At least as far as I've seen. 5A and 2C are much better. As a DP... it's... bad. Inferno Divider beats it clean.
  5. No one in the NA that I've fought uses 6B anyways. lol It's just a fucked up Jayoku.
  6. It's what makes his new relaunch combos work. Faster canceling is better zoning.
  7. Isn't the dash here like the 6C after a forward grab in the corner? Cause that would make a lot of sense since the dash is sorta looks like the 6C motion itself. Hazama does a moonwalk.
  8. I get it to work without the dash. Dunno how that happens... or maybe I'm subconsciously doing a dash. lol
  9. Oh didn't know it worked on Valk. I tried Mu a few times because she can be picked up with 5C but I guess I didn't have the right timing. edit: I just got it to work. Needs a lot more space for 623D than Tager. And doesn't it work on Taokaka too?
  10. Uhhh... what he said almost half the cast. I think 5 is pretty close although it's a third of the cast.
  11. Yeah but now you have to know which ones you have to straight jump, forward jump or back jump for the j.6D link to work. Annoying to remember them all although it's mostly just jump forward. I think for Rachel you need to jump backwards. Shit like that.
  12. You don't need Jayoku to do it. You can do it even off command grab. And... wut? Maxed ranged Jayoku? Anyway. So I just played CS1 Hazama again to test the link. It feels almost exactly like the CS2 link. So uhh... those of you who thought it was super hard, might have some issues with it at first. It's more about knowing how to do it than when to do it. It didn't feel like a hard link. Although I think CS2 might be slightly easier but you'll barely notice the difference. For reference, I did 5C > 3C > dash> 5C > 2C > 4D~A > 4D~A > 623D > j.6D > 2C > 4D~A > 4D~A > j.214B# (On Tager of course). EDIT: Sorry I thought you said Jayoku. I always see that wrong every time >_> But yeah. getting as much chains gets your opponent in the max range of Jakou. So that's why you need the most chains.
  13. I know it was character specific. I'm not stupid. But hitstun does affect it. You need as much chain hits as possible before you 623D.
  14. I believe you need enough hitstun in a combo to actually get the j.6D to link. It's the same in CS2 and the j.7D part serves the purpose of giving extra distance between you and the opponent to get the most hitstun out of 623D because 623D changes hitstun and damage according to how far your opponent is from you. In CS1 I think you need to do 6D > 4D > 623D after some combo that I forgot (Sorry I can't remember how it started) to get the j.6D. It was never that hard of a link. But it does become common practice in CS2 so no worries about that.
  15. It does recover a bit faster and chain canceling has been made faster. That's the main reason you can connect 623D after a j.7(8)D. 3C > Mizuchi is quite easy but you just need to know you have to cancel the 3C into Mizuchi as fast as possible. j.6D link is a BIT harder than 3C > Mizuchi but it's something you can pull off constantly and isn't too hard when you get the hang of it.
  16. You can't do it off a raw Houtenjin. Needs to be FC. I just tried it on all the cast to see if it was possible to do on any but nope. You should be getting FC from a Houtenjin anyways if it's gonna be your combo starter.
  17. oh ok. You confused me when you said "grab". lol.
  18. I thought 7DA or 8DA only works on Jin and Bang in CS1. Or are you talking about CS2? ... Sorry. Looking back at your post again, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
  19. lol ok. But I still say D-nails are terrible for Haz zoning,5a killing Haz mixup options, and most important of all Bang be too ninja. I wished I could play more games ._.
  20. I wished that worked. I really do Dunno if it's the startup frame that's screwing me up but I always get CH 5A'ed if I ever attempt to 2A his 5A 2A pressure. It's not like I'm throwing it out there all the time either. I block till I can get a good chance to hit him back but I just get CH from 5A. Then Nails get me into pressure again and there goes my chance of pressuring them. I dunno. This might have to do something with the fact that the only good Bang player I play against mains Hazama. lol
  21. You mentioned how the Hazama can block and 2a just like Bang can block and 5a. If Bang pressures with 5a and 2a, block 2a loses. It doesn't have anything to do with the the topic of D-nails and Bang 5a.
  22. Problem is that Bang's 5a beats Hazama's 2a. 2a has more startup frames. I think doing 5a is a more viable option in most cases. Hazama's 5a hitbox is smaller than Bang's so Bang's usually wins. But again, I'm not sure. I'll play some matches with some Bangs tomorrow to see how it goes. I'm kinda trying to figure out how to make this matchup easier for myself.
  23. I never said mash but blocking and 5a works. That's not mash in any way but it still serves the purpose of stuffing the pressure. I'll try looking up some vids and see what I can pillage. If I find a good example, I'll post it for you guys to analyze it and see what exactly caused it. And of course by video, I mean Japanese arcade ones.
  24. They didn't. Buppa ended it with 236D immediately after the 3C. I was saying that if they had lengthened it, it would've happened. I wasn't making any point about that. lol @sG: Apparently. I guess I shouldn't talk about things I'm slightly ignorant of. Sorry.
  25. The second video kinda proved my point. Block D-nails, land, get hit by Bang pressure into a combo. First video was... Buppa. Dora barely used D-nails and Buppa barely pressured him long enough. I never do stance pressure against Bang and I pretty much do the same Buppa does after 3C: 236D. I only do overhead with the stance if I know my opponent will keep blocking. But what I saw in that match was lots of IB Jayoku. That's a good option against any character and not just Bang. This does not counter the defensive 5a argument. Bang was pressuring and not Hazama. If you try to lengthen your pressure against Bang, 5a will always CH you. Pressuring with 2a and 5b is his only real option. I still think it's in favor of Bang. I don't think it's too much in his favor but just a 55 for Bang.
