Ladies and gentlemen I bring you Gamefaqs. Anyway, I had a question about how Valient Charger works right now. Can anyone tell me why I sometimes get less dashes to work with? I've tried doing combes involving valient crush into charger followup like this: 5C -> 6C -> jC -> 6B -> sentinel dump but it never lets me continue valient charger after 6B. I'm really confused how it works. I just go for the typical 5C*N right now cause I can't get this working

League has piss poor balancing because of the very fact that it listens and weighs in heavily the opinion of the general mass. If enough people cry about it, they nerf it. That's exactly what Arcsys shouldn't be doing. Let the balance team figure it out and stop whining. And ok if you think my logic is bullshit, that's fine. But do you disagree with my main point that balancing a game is not as simple as nerfing the strong and buffing the weak?

Balancing isn't as simplistic as you describe it. Some characters are really hard to balance and not overbuff/overnerf because of their inherent kit. If you're familiar with MOBA games, it's very similar e.g. Kassadin and Lucien in LoL. They nerfed Lucien but made one small change to one of his abilities. Reddit went crazy over it and cried over nerfs. Then when the patch came out, his win rate went up by ~5%. He was so good that they had to nerf him again. Coming back to FGs and specifically BB, there's also a lot of limitations that so-called low tier characters have that if the limitations are removed or the numbers are overbuffed, it could completely break the fragile semi-balance that the game has. Of course as an ordinary player, you won't see that initially. Now I'm not saying that what Arcsys is doing is making the game perfectly balanced but I am saying that we should be looking forward to an ever evolving game and not just a static, completely balanced game devoid of any disparity. Trying to reach perfect balance is good. Actually reaching it is not.

You did punish them. I more or less stopped backdashing all together. Takes a bit of discipline not backdashing when I constantly switch between Tager and Azrael. And I played Azrael against LostDrive's Izayoi and he pretty much played exactly like you did. Pretty sure it's not a Tager thing.

GGs to ppl I played. Playing against Izayoi gives me brain cancer. She's a more annoying Tsubaki and I never thought that was possible.

Love watching people salty about Azrael. Makes my day. In general, everyone has to block more. Mashers will mash regardless of the character. And no I won't continue to IB shitty mixups consisting of telegraphed gatlings for the 60th time in a match. I will 360/backdash the living hell out of you until you learn how to counter it. Not sure what they're gonna do with Growler but it's not gonna affect every matchup the same. It's practically useless in the Hakumen matchup for example. Also how is the Leopard Launcher wallstick gonna affect him I wonder. Does that mean no more RC IAD combos? Not sure how wallstick works anymore. So it's like CS1 -> CS2 Bang transition ?
