thanks for uploading.. those matches were some of the hottest i've ever seen, and that includes japanese vids. serious props to flash and latif...shit was insane. and sirsmoov, sorry I wasn't there to tell you how to beat eddie =*( good shit nonetheless you did way better than I would have ever done...maaaad props. only was able to dl the 1st one cuz rapidshare blows, but so far great work. After being out of the game for a sec, I think even I could learn a thing or two from watching these vids... =) keep it up...and yes, the last vid should contain poking/zoning strategies imo, since that is a deeper part of Axl that most players never get to undersand fully. I've won entire matches with 5P alone and people didn't know how but basic understanding of how his poking normals work reveal a whole side of strategy to Axl that is rarely discussed.

lawwwwl.. I've been all over the motherfuckin' country for guilty gear, just takin a break cuz i got actual responsibilities now. 85% of the cast of US guilty gear players are either in HS, college, fresh out of college, or fresh out of HS-- or still have shitty lil rinky shit jobs and are not into their "career" yet. 2% of the represented population are just kids who's parents have too much money and give them a lot of it so they have no real responsibilities in life, for some reason attached themselves to guilty gear, and have the freedom/money to travel where ever or whenever they feel like it-- it's rare but we all know the type. Then there's like 12% who are very cranky and highly selective like me because we work hard during the week, generally have an active social life including dating and the occasional get together with friends or co-workers, and almost always have a secondary or tertiary hobby of some sort which can and normally does take precedence over guilty gear because of accessibility and ease. The final 1% is saved for final showdown. I would make a pie chart too, but I have to return to the real world now. until the next time ladies and gentlenerds of the interwebs: -Shag

you could probably control the fall with an RC or late frame FRC... I've seen this happen too though but haven't been able to recreate it with any particular combo.

thats pretty pimp guardian but I don't see why ppl are finding 3P so hard to hit confirm...the window to input a gatling on it is huge and lasts thru the entire animation basically so you can decide to stop and do 5K pretty easily imo. nothing else new though, but I am working on some things. ^.^ -Shag

I'm sorry if I confuse ppl because I don't take the time to know the weights of the chars, I just know what hits on them =) That's what's important. I guess the best way to say it is you take the most extreme case and see who all it applies to. In this case, I guess it'd be roboky (pot is his own story...so ez to combo) by you're chart... and see what roboky only combos work on all the other characters and use those as B&B combos since you know they'll work on heavies as well as many others. If that makes sense... -Shag

it does work on most chars but im saying on them in particular it makes things so much easier =) and yes robo, johnny, ky are all similar weights and even hitboxes... at least for me every ky specific combo that I have also applies to those chars. I think johnny is easier to combo but my ky only combos work on him so I just classify them together. -Shag

sups Im considering picking up Slayer as a counter to my problem chars...I played old school XX slayer, but passed on #R and / cuz he looked very boring to me...now that Slayer is back to dishing out damage in halves not quarters and looking prettier than ever I figured I'd get back on the wagon. Long story short, what are some B&B combos I can land on various chars and what are some of the best openers... so far I noticed most of his old gatlings were removed and that saddens me so I need to figure out how to even start an air combo and then the timing on j.2K seems to be messing with my mind. Some help? I don't need long explanations just a jump start so I can experiment on my own =) ty in advance. -Shag

6P into 2S seems to work better on heavies than 2S alone or c.S,2S...it's not much but its a discovery I made yesterday. Also, anyone got some juicy char-specific midscreen throw combos? I saw some for Sol in a japanese vid that were hot, but aside from that all I can offer is this: vs. Ky (and prolly roboky/johnny since they are similar weight) -- throw, deep dash, 5K, 5P(2), 2S(2), sjc j.H, j.D, kokku very simple variation but I thought it was keen that you could land 5K in there to make the combo a bit easier, you'll see what I mean when you try it because it looks like ky is way too far away. -Shag

thats sick guys. very cool....oh and about that slide combo I posted earlier...did some more testing and it doesn't work on Ky or Axl. Any character that has a funky "leaning backwards" animation as they fall won't get hit by a TK bomber during the slide because it forces their hitbox to be under the ground plane so only chars who lay flat or face forward a lil bit will be able to be combod like that. and pyre: you can buffer any move in the game, especially charges. That's how I do all my TK combos and most of my mid-screen loop setups is by buffering in dashes and jump installs everywhere... too fun. You can actually come up with some fun stuff thanks to the "lazy input" system gg has where as long as u hit every command within x amount of frames. Dashing rensen is still the best thing ever... -Shag
