Haha, yeah Akira is a beast, as long as he has an assist with decent range for quick help with zoning (I just go with Dokuro-chan :P) and he is a monster, 66B almost never fails f you start the match with it, it blitzes the opponent catching a lot of people off guard. Sadly I agree on the netcode, I can get away with some silly stuff and chees out a victory but by no means am I pulling off any amazing combo and burst exstenders, it's hard enough to find people online as is in this game so getting a laggy match is pretty annoying once you finally find one. Netcode can make or break a fighting game *cough*MKX*cough! Yeah Light novels are pretty obscure as is, not many people even heard of Dengeki Bunko before this game. I myself am only familiar with the shows featured on Adult Swim like Durara and SAO. Of course I know Virtua Fighter and Valkeria Chronicles as well and I know of Mikasa, Touma and Accelerator but I never watched the anime or read the light novels. Shana may be a good start.

Just got this game the other day, decided on maining Tomoka and Akira, focusing on the former though. Love her gameplay, she is just a ton of fun to watch and play, she has short normals but if you can get the hang of those setups she is a monster, good mobility too. I use her with Izaya, Touma, or Kino, although I find Celty is okay too. Gonna go through some matches and get more out of her. I am hype for the next installment although it sucks it had to come out so soon after this one hit the states..Glad to see Tetsuya playable and I vaguely remember that teleporting girl from the anime. My only hopes for characters are to have Accelerator and Izaya playable and although it is a long shot Kazuma and Ryuho from S-Cry-Ed with Cougar as an assist. Maybe Sayuki characters too.

Wow Airk, thank you so much, I couldn't have said it better myself, I learned some things, I will be sure to show him that video, I'm sure he will be pleased to know this, and very true about Rachel being more difficult.

Because this is stuff that my brother was complaining about, and this is info from BBCS2, perhaps you did not read correctly, and no offense meant, but I am still new here, I have been trying to get on more often and learn how everything works, I have had enough trouble simply editing my profile the way I want to. I brought up things from BBCS and BBCT to make a point at what my brother what getting at, you gave ame an infraction for asking a question you considered dumb, that is a pretty silly reason, it's not like I was completely off topic, I ddin't even know that was against the rules, I was just asking for advice. And when I talk about videos and the gameplay of the said characters in the videos I am going to also ask about balance, like I did pages back with some Mokoto and Ragna videos. That is one of the ways I can really critique the players until I am really familer with the new system, unlike most I am pretty recently getting into Jourdal's videos, so I am not too experienced with the balance yet, which is why I come here to get advice from pros. But I digress, if it is against the rules I apologize, I do thank those who were patient and mature enough to answer my question, it helped a lot guys I will make sure to make use of the search function next time.

Hey guys recently me and my brother have been having trouble, me and him were playing BBCS2 and he was Rachel and I was Bang, when I use Bang I use my basic bread and butter combos (B,forward B, Dragon punch B) that combo takes out about two or so guard libras, I thought they toned bang donw but my brother does not think so, however he makes good points, here is the gist of the complaint: No one really talks about Bang despite him being really good, he has great health, great attack, great speed (Running and fighting) his standing B is too fast, long and powerful, he can combo off of almost any hit, he is too good at putting on pressure and getting out of it, he is too versatile (Nails, that bounce and take up the screen, poison nails to chip away health, nails that stick you in place and the exploding one.) he can then throw 3 nails then while you are blocking the three nails, run full screen and put some serious pressure on you. He also states that is is unfair how much invincibility time he gets compared to Rachel, all his distortion drives give him some incredible invincibility, meanwhile Rachel's can be stopped with a normal attack, he also says Bang's drive is the most overpowered in the game because it's a one-button escape move, when Rachel does a distortion, Bang can simply press D and teleport behind her and counter. Keep in mind he is not belly aching because of a few losses, it's just he had been a rachel main ever since she came out, he really wanted to prove to people that she was not low tier, when we were playing BBCS, however he still wanted a stronger Rachel, so of course he was excited for Rachel in BBCS2, however he says: while they gave her back her damage they took out her combos which really got to him, he says that simply taking out Bang's wall bounce did not do much as other than that he does not see hoe they really toned Bang down. Although I have ONLY used Bang since Calamity Trigger, I would still like to hear from some professionals on this matter. In the end hey just doesn't think that a character who does nothing in the story and is comic relief should be more powerful than the strongest character in the story, he just really likes Rachel and wants to know why she is so seemingly weak. Harsh criticisms is excepted but make sure it is also helpful for him, even though I don't like Rachel I think you guys can explain this better than I can. Is Bang overpowered?

I hope Carl never gets banned, I always felt he was the Nes (From Super smash bros.) of Blazblue, lots I people (That I knew personally) thought he sucked until I showed them videos of Kyaku and DIO. And then I started playing as him, I really don't see why he should be considered overpowered when he is pretty much a 1 combo character that is difficult to use. As for Arakune I have no idea since I have not been watching any matches with him but I hear he is pretty OP.

Good to know about Bang. But Rachel? I dunno when I played against her using Bang I took her out rather quickly but you may be right considering I killed Ragna faster but at least with him it's understandable, as for her guard I don't mean how many she has I mean how easily they break, using Bang's B,B, dragonpunch B, I was able to take out like two libras every time, same with using Carl's Nirvana (Although that already does heavy damage) still you are probably right, I haven't played the game's new additions for very long so it is most likely my imagination.

I didn't know that, guess it was just all the combo videos with him and match ups. Thanks. Poor Tager, but even Bang can still be good? Impressive, even though I don't main Rachel it is good to hear even she can be devistating still. Her health and guard are still trash though. I never saw many Akira matches, I need to check him out, it is sad that they can't do too much with Tager, they should make him like Potenkin from Guilty gear, now that would make Tager godlike. And I can believe you on that Makoto, I heard a few players even switched over to playing as her now.

Good lord, Ragna is godlike, how is he not top tier anymore? lol Can anyone link some videos to Zero's rachel, I am interested to see how devastating she is with the patch, I also want to see Kyaku's carl (Although I have been sweating Jourdal's videos with Carl in it.) I also hear Naburi is good with Platinum. Sorry for all the request lol. On another note, I hear that there are no bottom tier characters anymore, that is good to hear, has anyone noticed characters that are still overpowered or underpowered? I have not gotten the chance to see too many changes so I wanted some expert opinions on the changes.

I am really liking Jin in this, thanks for uploading matches though, they are awesome, I know what players to look out for and try to learn things form them. My favorite player has got to be Kyaku. I am surprised at how Godlike Noel is though, she almost seems overpowered again to me.

Can anyone tell me some people to look out for, I really want to know good Rachel, Carl, Bang and Trinity players. I know of Dora, Minami, and chariot. Noob question I know but I want to study some of the good players, any reccomendations?

Man Makoto is a monster now, and Shinjuku made Jin look epic, the second match with Arakune showed me how much more powerful he is now. I am still going to try and main Bagn and Trinity, I want to use Carl too, he looks really fun.
