*~*~*SPOILERS~*~*~* Link the fire: Kaathe and Gwyndolin duped you, you're basically used as fuel to try and keep the Fire going a little longer, and by extension keep the Gods in power aswell since their power comes from the flame and jazz. Like Gwyn before you you get to burn for all eternity until some other sap comes to put you out of your misery and keep the cycle going. Yay! Dark Lord: You choose not to link the bonfire, which pretty much means that living things will die, the Gods will lose their power, and the world goes back to being lifeless. It's implied that the undead, the serpents and you will be able to live and you become the serpents' Dark Lord. Yay! I'm a complete nerd for the Dark Souls lore, it's so imaginitive. EpicNameBro on Youtube has covered it all in indepth videos, they're really fun to watch. Also homg I broke my abstinence rule and listened to Artorias's theme. I need this game like right now. It's funny because I'll probably get it before P4A lolo

If you jump off one of the ledge/walkways after the first two ghosts you can take a shortcut straight to the boss fight. You'll still have to fight a couple of Darkwraiths, though.

HELL YES. I still need to finish Peace Walker, actually. I don't know why I stopped playing it, it was amazing, especially the lolicopter thing~ Snake Eater bess though.

I hate Ragna because he's a giant fucking douche whose head looks like a toilet brush, not to mention that he's so emaciated that he literally struggles to breathe in his (probably smelly, since he's supposed to be a ~*mysterious vagabond*~ or whatever) Dante-ripoff jacket. Throw into the mix his piss-poor, whiny personality, deus ex machina plot hax that allow him to overcome far stronger combatants and his complete obliviousness to anything important and you have the recipe for one of the most unlikeable protagonists ever!

Play me and you'll understand why. And my Nu isn't even particularly good, I'd hate to think what playing against a proficient one is like.

You're right actually. I think that's why I liked Nier and Dark/Demon Souls so much, departs from that trope a bit (although they're more HnS but whatever.)

My first playthrough. I somehow managed to kill Hanged Man, somehow, and after that pretty much mashed through the rest of it as quickly as possible. I think I only maxed like half the social links but oh welp I also bought P3P since I actually wanted to use my Vita but I'm probably going to play the FemC's story sparingly since it's essentially the same. Plus, I have a feeling it's going to be alot less badass :v Yeeeah I watched a LP of the Answer. As much as I love P3 its gameplay is pretty bad, I don't really have the inclination to sit through another dungeon crawl. I also just realised how similar the ending was to FFIX... I swear there has to be a name for this 'the-power-of-friendship-to-overcome-world-destorying-god-thing-oops-central-character-died' trope Never.

I did originally think that Gwyn was the most profound fight, considering you're fighting the burnt-up old husk of what was once the most powerful God, the fact that you've been decieved the entire game and the depressing endings afterwards... until I realised you could parry him and killed him in two hits with my goofy looking dragon-form. Seeing that thing get set on fire was more hilarious than sad.

Yeah but I mean the whole Power of Friendship thing seems to recur in weeaboo fiction... maybe they've all watched MLP or something. My favourite fight would be Nito if he wasn't so pathetic, all of his atmosphere and hype is god-tier.

Dark Souls is one of the best games of this generation imo and I cannot wait for Artorias DLC. I'd probably still be playing it now but I've pretty much done everything and PVP is stupid easy with TWoP and Target Shield.

i hope not, that would be a complete waste of resources to a fashion a complete character, its movesets, distortions etc and then just not bother with it, I'd imagine she'd be unlockable or DLC or something

She's the only new character I like, the pink one is.. pink, and the other looks like a blue, wrinkle-less Valkenhayn, meh. Also I don't think scars are hereditary.

Nice composition, really leads the eye. I like that kind-of art nouveau style you have going on too. I'd maybe work on your embellishment a bit more though, everything feels like it's on the same plane, it gives the impression he's just kind of floating as opposed to actually sitting down (I know that's kind of the idea but I feel he could use more of a sense of weight.)
