Dash cancelable throws now, eh? Can't wait to see what silly stuff people come up with for that.

I'm considering putting down my pad and learning stick. Anyone know of any good/relatively cheap stick brands? (also one that is easy to mod) I have no idea where to start searching orz

2A, 5C, 5D and j.C are his best normals. Pressuring midscreen I normally do stuff like: 2AxN > 6A (jin's overhead) 2AxN > 2B > 2B 2C > 6D 5B > 5B > 2B/6A 2xN stuff > 5C > TK hizangeki (overhead) pressure > 5D it also helps to stagger the moves when pressuring, it'll help catch mashing, or backdash, etc. Jin mixup is pretty solid in this version, you get pretty nice reward for 6A with 50 meter, and high/low mixup is pretty silly.

just started learning izayoi (saber palette hnnngg) ww, this character is pretty fun despite all her shortcomings. also made me realize how spoiled i am as a jin player haha. can't wait to grind match ups with you guys during my spring break.

[CP] Jin Kisaragi Video & Discussion Thread [Updated 1/1/2014]
Lucien replied to Jourdal's topic in Jin Kisaragi
agreed, that combo video was super fancy. -
This match up is pretty easy if you're solid in neutral. Most people are able to beat out 6B with 2A. The most effective way I pressure Hazama is through staggering. (2AxN, 6D, 5B > 5B block string, etc.) this match up is actually pretty straightforward tbh.

This match-up is better played at a distance. You want to punish mistakes and just confirm off of big hits, that'll be where the bulk of your damage comes from because it's really easy for Tager to punish blind RTSD in this installment with the magnet charge reversal that he has now. By keeping yourself at a distance, you severely limit his options. He'll either try to cover ground with 2D/j.C/j.2C/B Sledge, charge magnet/spark bolt. You, in a way, force him to do either one of these by staying distant. -- j.C is your spacing tool. Well spaced, it'll beat out Tager's j.C, back dash. Also use it to keep him from charging magnet/reversal. DP B to stuff Tager's attempts to jump in. 2C will stuff Tager's j.2C. Pretty easy punish for Jin. Meaty 6B/6B throw bait catches Tager's back dash. In blockstrings: 2A xN > 5B(1) > 2B > delay 66B j.236D is a good lockdown tool in corner to keep Tager from using air projectile. -- I find myself fishing for CH with j.C most of the time. On air confirm, I can usually go into CH j.C > j.2C > jc > j.C > j.D > stuff Or on the ground: CH j.C > d.5C > 214D > stuff. I wouldn't really go for resets too often in this match up as it's pretty easy for Tager to 5A mash, back dash out of them. That's all I have for now.

I heard that Terumi is a free download until November (for digital buyers) or something like that, dunno if this is legit or not, hope so.

Did I just read RIP 5B pressure? ;________; I need to start checking DL more often.

Lmao! Not a lefty! Just a habit from texting aha. Hmm, and I see what you're saying. I definitely do have a different set of priorities when it comes to approaching certain match-ups. I had almost forgotten how to play Jin vs Makoto entirely until I played you lol, so thank you for that experience. I'm gonna add you on PSN.

Ughhhh, I guess it's time for me to take Ren's place as the textbook, ultimate Jin.
