I had seriousproblems with Tao too. In the end, I just had to break challenge mode down painstakingly. Just practicing over and over the first three steps over and pver, then the first four steps over and over, then the first five and so on.
For every challenge. Over and over. Not much fun, but it lowers the frustyration when your trying to take a massive ite out of challenge in one go.
It definitely helped with that muscle memory : )
