  1. I haven't really touched BB enough to see any of the english translations or changes in it, so I guess I wouldn't have noticed until now lol. But makes sense as well since Overture had a more literal translation than Xrd seems to. I'm going to assume SC was then also responsible for putting together the NA-exclusive boxset from Xrd-Sign? Since the booklet that came with it had some of the same kinds of dubious information that seems to be a hallmark of their work, from what I'm reading. So PCB Productions handled the voicework/casting (I assume she was the voice director then? It's hard to tell since none of GG's english casting has ever been credited...), and SC handled the script for them?
  2. This is all really interesting and answers a lot of my questions regarding the sudden dip in quality of GG's localizations. Thanks for bringing it up. So this company is also responsible for the English voicecasting, or is it the scripting only? Curious if they also worked on Overture.
  3. I definitely would like to be able to play more often than the monthly TSB's so I'd try to show up to biweekly or at least once more extra per month, but I also agree^ more than biweekly is going to be too much of a hit walletwise. Since I live really close though it's more convenient for me than it may be for others.
  4. We've actually had those for a long time. They're posted on the official Xrd site. edit: http://ggxrd.com/ac/wanted/ Scroll down until you get to the big blocks of english, lol
  5. Wow... it really is the last TSB for ACR, isn't it... Will ACR continue to be run alongside Xrd or are we switching to just Xrd? Or does it just depend on how many people wanna enter?
  6. IIRC Kurushii tried to but said the files he got out of it weren't usable in any way (don't know the technical details).
  7. Do me a favor and don't take my quite obvious random rambling twitter speculation as fact, lol.
  8. This was my second major and I don't think I made a post for my first one so I'm gonna make one now SO: Roomiesss: Ama- didn't cry ONCE the entire weekend while training me, even when I said 5p was a bad poke (and saying I got better :333) Circus Tits- made me laugh so hard I cried, like 3 times? And always absurdly chill to hang out with NYC: Dai- somehow ended up TOing, again. If there was anyone I could abandon in Logan Square who could both find food AND get back to Rosemont alone, it was you! Slothfacts- thanks for the Bridget MU experience and general between-matches chat! Everyone else: Glac- Tao is coming along great! Girls room for Combobreaker maybe!? Shinsyn- running around like crazy all weekend keeping the anime hype up, I didn't even realize you weren't TOing most of the tourney! MikeZ- said I was cool for reciting obscure GG story and setting info by heart ;w; t-thank you Brandino- finally got to play you off netplay and thanks for the MU tips! I need to just not burst against HOS lol VR- Such a nice guy, thanks a ton for the Sol rounds and tips! Congrats on the Top8! Next time I'll parry more...on purpose LOL Rob- thanks for thrashing me with your Jam, I needed it lol- and the valuable Millia experience! Axis- making me feel like I'm at an anime con every major with those damn ears+tail, there is no respite from this hell Anyone else I played or hung out with- I leveled up hard this weekend and it's thanks to this awesome community! Thank you! Anyone who complimented/took photos of Kokonoe- thank you for making cosplayers feel so welcome in the fgc! Keits, nobodyexe and all organizers/behind-the-scenes people at this event- it was fantastic and everything seemed to run smoothly, can't wait for Combobreaker The hotel, even though they won't see this- what troopers, sorry you have to deal with anime/cosplayers the week after ACen, you thought it was over but no
  9. Agreed. Since Overture had a limited roster and mostly new characters, I'd also love to see how other characters' gameplay plans could adapt for use in the Master combat system. Just picture, Iunno, Venom doing ball setups to hit multiple enemy units at a time or Chipp going in for hit and run kills on the enemy Master Ghost while his units take care of the nitty gritty. Could be awesome.
  10. Thank you for the translations so far!
  11. I miss his long hair, tbh ;_; Seconding a more in depth translation of that interview though, specifically about the roster and about the game going forward. I saw some snippets are on twitter about their responses but having the full context on the questions that were being asked/discussed would be great.
  12. I can come this time, yaay (anyone might have a laptop for side Sailor Moon, y/n? I still wanna see what this looks like actually played...)
  13. I'm also curious to know if Saba and Ryuhi are new to GG and if so what other games they play? Or if I've just never seen them mentioned before. I fell asleep before the tourney could begin so I missed everything but a few casuals, hope someone can get the footage reposted ;_;
  14. Daisuke made it pretty clear he's not interested in voicing Sol any longer (unfortunately), so I doubt it. neutral/spacing (dunno why not just use that word...)
  15. Definitely can't come, have too much stuff to do and not enough money >: And I'll be out of town the TGITSB a week later. Seeya in April I guess.
