Since it seems likely that we aren't getting the BBCF dub tomorrow. I was curious if anyone was willing to compile a list or video of what the characters say to each other during the start and end of matches. I'd love to know exactly what Susanoo and the other new characters say to one another.

Yeah only thing you can do is keep practicing on the joystick till you can get it. I know I had the same problem at first starting out. Chaoschao222 really explained it the best way anyone really can.

Also same as Hakkai_Requiem, I like anime and VNs and kinda just fell in love with the characters and the weird ass story. Loved dishing out that real soviet damage and screwing with people with blob-man. The game is also really fun to watch to me. Loved just watching pro matches on Jourdal's channel and the BBVlog.

Can't say I've ever played on the Vita but I'm sure the combos should be just as doable as console if you are used to the Vita controls. Sounds like you just need practice. Also who you are trying to play matters a lot. Some characters are MUCH easier to get the hang of than others. When just beginning you'll want to start small. If you are having problems just doing the basic moves then obviously you're going to drop the combos. Repeat the basic attacks as much as you need to until you can do it consistently, then do the same with another one, then another. Once you can do the moves reliably THEN try tying them together in combos. I'd recommend doing that and playing the tutorial and character challenge modes as much as you can. As far as characters to use, I'd recommend trying Ragna until you can get the basic game moves and mechanics down. He's pretty straightforward and doesn't take much to do decent with. Don't feel bad you have some great tools to help you with tutorial/challenge mode. It was way harder to get the hang of this game back in the day. I started on Calamity Trigger and we didn't have shit all that told us how to play then. I just had to play Tager until my thumbs literally bled. Bit long-winded but hope that all helps.

Wow...I check back 12 hours later and this is still going huh. But yeah what he said. I really don't see the big deal about the chip damage when Tager's command grabs do the same thing and you avoid both in the same way basically. Just...don't be there when they do it. In fact, you could probably avoid the drills easier with Hakumen since I imagine you can just counter them unlike grabs. Even worse is Arakune since he can just curse you for days and basically have free crush triggers now so the chip doesn't sound like much compared to that shit. In short, just fucking jump man...

@Skye I can see where a lot of this could be a problem when other characters like bullet just got pure buffs as opposed to the random grab bag of changes arakune usually gets. I guess I was assuming the addition of guard breaking C bugs to be more devastating. Though wait, how did they change j.c? It's just not counted as a high anymore? I mean it should still be a useful cross up tool all the same right?

Yeah this is kinda weird given that I think he only got buffs. Does anyone know what people think about playing the new blob or why he's falling down people's lists?

Suppose I'm the only one who's used the dubs since CT so I'm fine with them. English Tager is a man!....even if horribly abused. But having a rematch button is nice too.
