I agree with you, it's just having Nu-Mode for longer that I particularly approve of As for pumpkin change, I'm going to guess that they made the active frames for winded pumpkin start up earlier? (I don't actually know.)

I know these probably aren't the only changes, but the list seems kind of... disappointing a bit. Pumpkin moving only four times is At best you're only going to have 4 wind gauges to move it with. I am liking the 2C and Lotus changes though.

Hm, the only one I can do j.B j.C x2 without sideswitching on reliably in the 3C>236B combo is Tager (Just tested it on all the possible characters) If I tried to input BBL on all the others it would 1. end up as air BBL and bluebeat because I didn't fall fast enough or 2. I'd have to input BBL in reverse. But it might just be my bad execution, idk

Do j.B>j.C>jc>j.C instead of the second j.B and you should end up not switching. Also @standing confirm: it depends on the matchup as well... End with 3C in matchups where keeping them close is beneficial (ie. Lambda). 5CDC ender should only be used if needed to get in range for 236B in the corner. Otherwise just 5CC (you'll be close enough anyway), it saves the wind.

HYPE!! Vertical lotus combos so sexy. Not to mention level 3 j.2C combos... whoamg. I'm liking the new SMP (oddly enough) it forces Rachel to really think about how they will extend the combo (like 3[C]5D midscreen), instead of 3C > 214C > 3C x n. Also... j.236A has no SMP? so broken

The easiest solution would be to practice 5B j.2DA (Press 2D after you jump.) This also helps against opponents who react to 2D itself. It depends on the character. Against most characters you can instantly j.A. Some crouching hitboxes though are stupid... Off the top of my head they are Litchi, Noel, Hazama, and Rachel. You have to slightly delay j.A vs. all of them (correct me if I'm wrong.) Against them I usually use j.2DB as a more stable confirm. This problem is fixed in CP, where j.A hits gapless on everyone. Fuzzy guard works when you have downwards momentum from the first jump and 2D. Easy fuzzy guard that works on most characters: (blocked) j.2DA>j.B>JC>j.AA>j.B>j.C>whatever. It only requires one wind to do. As I said before, input j.2DA to get the momentum of 2D. Usually, you JC after j.B (Or you can do j.AA>jC>j.A, or j.A>j.C>JC>j.A). Practice until you can land and do dash 5A after the fuzzy guard. With exceptions like Hazama, I recommend doing j.2DB into fuzzy guard. It's slower, but the fuzzy guard works the same after that. Not quite sure what you mean by the last point... If you mean is there any reason not to use it, I'd say go for it a lot because once the opponent starts to respect it, Rachel's mixup becomes a lot scarier (as if it wasn't already!). You can start doing j.2DA>j.B>throw or j.2DA>j.B>2B... The possibilities are almost endless~

Hmm, when she actually says "Baden Baden Lily" she sounds very calm imo. The other voice set seems to be more intense. lol That reminds me of CT days when all of Rachel's lines were a jumbled mess with Gii and Nago constantly saying stuff with her, lol And thanks Tari! I actually didn't expect people to know about Et Cetera lol. I loved that manga as a kid (first manga I ever bought/read)

Point blank 236A CH can't be followed up, I think. (Like, literally in your face ) Max range CH can be followed up easily with dash 5B. What combo you do from it is your choice. For standing opponents midscreen you can do 5B>3D>j.B>j.2C>corner carry. Of course, 6CD works too. But for air CH, Gli pretty much covered it. -

Neutral tech + wind + backdash -> throw is so effective... But once people get used to it it's useless haha. In regards to mirrors, they're like a dice-roll to me honestly. Just random derp everywhere xD -

Laziness Rachel is practically unchanged, aside from minor damage nerfs and cat chair nerf. Although j.2C and j.B buffs are great pluses. -

I usually use sj.8D into barrier to escape curse... Is this viable? Also, CA instead of TD if Arakune is point-blank. You'll get smacked in the face and not one bat will come out.

Potentially awesome combo part. so^hei drops the ender but I think it goes: 6A>5B>sjc>j.C>2D>djc9>delay j.2C>Air frog>2D>5B relaunch>j.B>j.C>ender. I'm looking forward to more variations of this! It's like CT all over again except slightly harder combos. (Pumpkin + frog after every single combo)
